With the battle against Titan/Lorena Edgar's status of missing wasn't really something one could afford to focus on. Which is why you never expected to hear the young tom call out a warning to you. The attack from Lorena/Titan/Beast almost hitting its mark if he had not. Turning to face him you're shocked to see he looks nothing like you remembered him. His wings shimmering in the same way the feathers you found had. Now realizing that they belonged to him.
With a look of mixed regret and guilt he faced down the shared foe, "I'll explain after, I promise."

Day 15 - Edgar's Scavenger Club

The next moments seemed almost to happen in slow motion.
Lorena gripped her wand in the paw of her uninjured arm as Tamaya dove at her again, and the cat jumped out of the way just in time to avoid being pinned once more. The hero turned, preparing to dive at her again, battle claws outstretched, and as she adjusted her position, Lorena raised her weapon. Tamaya couldn't hear the words the cat spoke... but she did hear the sound of a familiar voice from nearby, yelling for her to look out.
And so, rather than jumping and lunging at the cat, she fell to her belly and spread her wings low to the ground as flames shot from Lorena's wand, igniting one of the trees surrounding the clearing where they now battled. There was a caw of surprise from the woods as a raven fled from the trees to circle overhead. And below that, amongst the trees, there was a blur of orange, white, and blue, with feathers dropping from the shaking branches.
Even Lorena seemed caught off-guard by this, but for reasons different from Tamaya's - How had not one, but two of these mortals snuck up on her like this?
But that surprise was enough to give Tamaya the opportunity she needed. Again she pounced lifting her wings high above her to slam her shoulder into the sorceress, knocking her to the ground, stunned, and sending her wand flying. "Poe!" she yelled as she leapt again, not holding back this time as she dug her metal claws into both of Lorena's arms. "Shiny stick! Grab the shiny stick! Grab it and burn it to ash!" she yelled over the feline's wails of pain.
The raven listened to her, for one reason or another, and dove to grab the wand in his beak. He took off into the air and dove through the rising smoke, where just barely, Tamaya could see something fall into the burning branches. The bird alighted on the head of the previous colorful blur as he stepped into the clearing, not a blur at all, but a cat.
"I guess I have some explaining to do," Edgar said. Then he paused, seeing Tamaya's own new form. "But, then again..."
She looked at him, then smiled and shrugged as much as she could without letting Lorena get loose again. "We can get into it later," she said. "For now, I'm bringing her to the titan. Care to join me?"
