Ayubu had stayed in her den the last few days avoiding the entire pride in hopes her surprise gifts wouldn’t be ruined.She had worked day and night to make these special pendants for her pride members and she couldn’t let anyone ruin it before she gave them out at the midwinter yule.A practically kicked anyone out of her den and sent them to go get healed by Kiandiko who was still sadly learning.Ayubu didn’t mean to be rude or a hermit but hey it would worth the looks on their faces.She’s always preferred to give gifts especially homemade ones to those around her, she loved making those happy since she never got much from her cheetah family when she was younger.Ayubu tactically spent her time wrapping the gifts in soft cattails from the oasis’s edge and quickly put them in a massive basket to give out.She soon fell asleep and awoke to the gleeful sound of the Midwinter Yule festival.Ayubu picked up her basket and headed out the music ceased and everyone turned to stare at her.

“Hey guys sorry for ignoring you but I made something special for everyone and I couldn’t let the surprise be ruined!”A mewed nervously and started handing out gifts.

All the lions chuckled and thanked her for the beautiful presents and some were even in shock at how thoughtful it was of her.She had customized them to be unique to their owner and contained a special memory of theirs inside it.
