Diablo wasn’t much of a gardener or a farmer but he was a fighter. Yet what the general requested of him made him feel like it would be a peaceful task even though he was rather nervous of what he was getting himself deeper into yet. So he snagged smoothed rocks and sharpened them while attacking them to thick sticks with bones making him self a nifty set of tools. He saw other lions do that when they were planting or transplanting crops so he supposed it shouldn’t hurt to have his own while he toiled in the cities unique gardens with the others left behind...

As he paced through the tunnels he found himself in a garden of sproutlings and crystallized sunflowers. They were the most beautiful plants he had ever witnessed in his life and for sure there was no sunflowers in the territories he’s lived in. He was desperate to pick them to take them home with him as a treat for his cubs and mate but he knew better then that. Plus what if they destroyed the trinity tree’s life force? He couldn’t just destroy a goddess like that especially if she was was important to the creatures that lived here.

So he quickly used his tools and started attacking all the obnoxious weeds that had spirited up over times. Especially the crab grass and how the heck did the thorny poisonous vines get all mottled up in there. Diablo thought bitterly at how odd it all was. Especially having gardens in tunnels under neath god knows what planet. This was all confusing and well it was definitely bring development and realization in his life. Diablo needed to be a better father especially when he returned but he should have been a better father in the first place as he relied on the information of plants his first born son had told him.

Diablo found a new gentleness and love to the extraordinary subject of gardening. He didn’t even realized more cats had came over to help him fill lion made wheelbarrows with all the gunk they pulled out of the ground soon cats were taking it to the surface and started a massive burn pile for the weeds to get rid of it easier. Soon he was done with the sunflowers and onto the next garden to help manicure it up in the wonderful city.

But he was easily distracted by a crying Letaba and his fatherly instinct took in to cheer her up. He was happy that she and Achilles were mates now but at the same time it worries him that Achilles was now alone and could die just like the goddess of the trinity tree. Diablo quickly distracted Letaba as she was know staying behind with him and gave her his tools to help manicure the garden even though she just needed all the comfort in the world. He noticed General come over and watched him give Letaba words of wisdom as she was worried about loosing another mate.

Letaba sat there as the tree of decay spoke about the balance and how the trinity tree wanted lions and cats to live forever. She frowned softly at the army stamping their paws getting riled up and ready to fight but she knew she would have to stand with the other tree. Letaba was all ready graced with eternal life ever since she died saving her pride from a massive infection brought in by rats and was taken in by Taa Safi. Then she finally spoke up with tears cresting her eyes,“I- I have to go even though the circle of life is important... I need air.” She said getting worked up and walking quickly away through the army of decay.

Achilles sighed softly as everything was explained ,“The founder and his son share the same values and I was taught the same the circle of life is important and we should be honored by it all.” He spoke not looking at Letaba and then frowned when she said she needed to go. Was it his words...“Letaba, Wait! Letaba!” Achilles yelled out after her not meaning to sound as harsh and heartless as he did. The watery sound in her voice stuck in his mind as he turned to go after her.

“ Give us some time, please...” he said while turning tail and running after her. Achilles knew something had always been different about Letaba. She had always created peace for him in the chaos and her face was angelic compared to most of the lionesses he’d seen in his life time. Did he actually have feelings for her? He was about to find out especially chasing after to see how she was doing but when he finally found the sobbing lioness. Achilles took a moment to approach but what he saw sent his jaw crashing on the ground.

Her aura was evident to the mortals now it must have been wearing off being in a different universe. Letaba didn’t realize Achilles was behind her till she turned to curl up,“Achilles?...”

“Letaba... I-“ He wanted to so desperately say something but he was having trouble forming his words as he looked at her angelic aura.“Your a archangel from La lluna aren’t you?” He finally spat it out instantly regretting it as he neared the lioness.

Letaba nodded,“You can try to kill me all you want... I won’t die again. I have eternal life...” She said between sobs.

Achilles calmly walked over and wiped her tears with his tail tuft,“ Who said about killing archangels? Hmm...” He said softly before cheering her up.“Letaba?” Achilles called putting for her once again softly.

“Yes, Achilles?” She said softly as she instinctively curled up around him.

“I love you, Letaba...”He said softly before getting showered with kisses from the fiery lioness. Achilles blushes and curled up with her as she said it back.“But I know we are going to be parted from each other...Head back to the trinity tree with Diablo and I will find out if this tree is truly being honest.” He murmured not wanting to part from his  mate.

“Achilles no! I don’t want to leave you!” She pleaded but it was too late he was gone and he stood with the lion Alexander as she made the long trip back. Letaba soon found Diablo gardening crying her eyes out telling him what had happened.
