Land Prompt B:

“YOU BLUBBERING IDIOT, THIS IS WHY YOU DON’T DITCH TRAINING!” Kuoana whisper yelled at Perseus in the underbrush they were hiding in as they watched rock creatures that were formerly their bluffs at the base camp emerged and start stomping across rocky beachs that swiftly turned into sandy shores. “That’s it Perseus, we don’t have time to handle this. Your training and yes at a time like this. This is going to be one valuable lesson.” He hissed before dragging Perseus out the bushes by his scruff and towards the tall grass praying to the Safi’s he wouldn’t get caught.

Perseus gritted his teeth at the fangs in his mane as his pelt was becoming snagged upon every single little passing bush and twig jutting up from the ground. “I’m sorry Kuoana…”

Kuoana didn’t respond he should’ve but he didn’t bother. His eyes softened like they normally did when he was with or thinking about one of his children as they found a clearing that was free from all rock monsters. He dropped Perseus on the floor before walking away and turning around to stand directly in front of him. Quietly Kuoana spat out some of the black fur Percy left behind in his mouth before his eyes narrowed at him. “I’m sorry too kid, I’ve just been trying to protect you to the best of my abilities while I can…”

Percy nodded rolling up to his paws and shaking out his slightly damp mane before glancing around as he heard the roars of the creatures in the distance,“Do you think that the titan will actually come, Kuoana?”

“Who knows, it’s a shame our shamans aren’t here to help us figure it out but personally it looks like it will. It’s just when and how much damage these rock things have done to our temporary camp.” Kuoana said rolling his shoulders and flexing his claws.

Perseus nodded as his eyes cast off to the side worriedly wondering where Áine and the others had fled too. His gaze solidified and intensely stared back at Kuoana,“Train me so we can ward off theses monsters. For Áine and for the pride…”

Kuoana nodded and flexed his claws releasing a signal Perseus should have known all too well that commenced their spare. A spare that wasn’t supposed to drain the energy from their bodies to make them both grow stronger together as one unit…

Sea Prompt B:

As the sparring has slowly came to the stop the two lions stared at each out of breath. So they may have worn each other out but the training was going to be put to good use and Perseus was still reading and ready to go even though Kuoana’s muscles ached in all the wrong places. Maybe training was now a young lions thing. Kuoana had finally caught his breath,“I’ll be meeting you at the new base camp, a bird just dropped intel. They headed inwards on the left toward the boabab thickets but stopped at the edge of the clearing, we often use it to pass through to the Oasis.”

Perseus nodded and watched him take his leave before glancing about. He was alone and well wanted to train more but he deemed it to be too risky to continue expel more energy than he would be able to muster up. His eyes cautiously flitted about him before he laid down under the tree. Percy had noticed that his body no longer ached, and his muscles no longer felt like they were being stung by millions of fire ants, and oh Safi did he gain a few toned muscles?

Percy couldn’t believe it, so Kuoana’s annoyance really was paying off…  He stretched one last time before getting up and slowly started following where Kuoana had disappeared off to. Perseus wish he could say that he had a favorite of training but he really didn’t have a massive difference between the two he liked the best. Sparring and playing capture mat was alright but he felt like it served no purpose except for immediately charging into battle. And well who wouldn’t love playing with a trident, thats what he seemed at natural with the most. You could probably say that would be his favorite if he didn’t tolerate either one.

As Percy continued walking making sure his paws wouldn’t crunch anything too loudly and making sure that he was heading in the right direction his mind discovered an odd thought… What if he was the descendant of the peacemaker? He shook his head, how silly…. But even if he didn’t notice it, the fact he was able to ace a training skill in seconds made others in the pride start to theorize what he really could be. And not just some youngster either… Maybe he was a demigod? Or just a swift pawed lion?

Sky Prompt C:

While Perseus was trotting to the new camp a battalion of flightless feathered cats had paused him from his journey, they all looked worried and it was obvious Allana was staying back to collect materials as well as start building plans for traps. It didn’t take much convincing for him to agree maybe not only could they put up traps for the rock monsters that was currently terrorizing the Edrenje’s homelands. The hero sighed slightly before picking up pace and meeting Allana where the cats had directed him too, it seemed they had found themselves a nice forested spot to currently hide in.

“Greetings Hero! It seems you have intercepted my message!” Allana said cheerfully during the rather dire situation, she watched Perseus about to say something but cut him off making him shake his head instead before catching him turning his head and listen to the distracting rumbles of the rock monsters. “So you know about the titan right? Stop worrying about the rock monsters… You can deal with those later.  Word of advice kid, the titan is far worse than what those creatures will ever be and ever do.”

Perseus eyes snapped back into focus and he gulped slightly at the thought of something far far more worse being out there. “I do… So what exactly are we going to do?”

“Traps of course you silly minnow! That’s why I’m sending half of my battalions out to scout and to fetch as many materials as possible while we create the perfect traps. Besides if there is any left over I’ll give you some to use on those walking talking pebbles.” She said tossing him a stick so they could draw their plans out in the mud before transferring it to scrolls.

Perseus nodded,“I meant what type of traps? I’ve never actually done this before…”

Allana gave him a look of don’t make me answer that before clearing her throat,“First is all you might want to start with some silence and clear your head and then go from there… Traps can be anything you want them to be but it’s best to rely on what nature offers around you,Perseus…”

Percy nodded and laid down with the stick in his mouth starring at the mud in silence. It wouldn’t be so bad if the silence was actually of use to him but it only made him focus upon the task at paw even less. But soon enough it all started to work together as he slowly started drawing sharp sticks point up that held nets that could trap the feet and easily trip it, giving him just enough time for the creatures to launch vines tied with rocks over it to hold the beastly titan down. For Perseus that wasn’t enough, he want to make sure it would hold so he devised a special launcher that would launch jellyfish and rocks at specific degree at the titan if plan rope n’ bolt failed them. He waved Allana over with his tail and explained what he was thinking.

Allana nodded her approval and started barking out orders to the crews that had returned dropping supplies and had two cats start transferring the plans from the mud to the papyrus.  It didn’t take long with all paws on deck.  Perseus helped roll the launchers to the specific locations and grabbed vines tieing it to the wheels before tieing it to the trees to lock it in. He watched cats run ahead tieing a fence of nets creating a massive barrier for the titan to trip over. Percy smiled seeing a few extras and dipped his head to the crews before running off with nets draped over his back.
