A Strange Visitor Scroll #10

                          |The Last Effect|
A hop skip and jump away in the La lluna Sanctuary...
Safiri and Fuli were standing tall next to Taa safi, they had watched everything that had gone on from the cloudy sanctuary above. But Safiri was tired especially from watching the spectacle for the last forty eight hours.

Fuli softly cleared her throat,“I can’t believe that there are other entities out there that could cause such... Such monstrosities like this! I mean look at it, the birds of the air are multicolored beasts with primordial tusks!” She said with a flick of her worried tail, maybe she was overwhelmed by the tapes Safiri told of what was happening on the mortal plane but she had every right to be.

Taa rumbled out a hearty laugh,“Ah, Queen Fuli you never cease to bring joy to my heart. But there is nothing to worry despite the lions of the pride of Valhalla having a unique religion they still have the same circle of life as us. And surely they will be protected if the harmless multicolored beasts turn array. As for the other entities it is much like the Trinity tree... They have come from another universe. And I can assure you it won’t harm us.” She said softly to the worried lioness.

Fuli nodded her sentiments as her mate swiftly woke up from his power nap,“I think it’s time to get Safiri home... I’ll send a new guard for you.” She said as she bowed to Taa before playfully picking up her mate by the scruff and dragging him to their den so he could rest.

Pro tem six feet under in El Korongo....
It was a dark cool meeting place the Daeva’s had decided to meet in. Or maybe it was the spine tingling, bone chilling, teeth grinding gossip one had to offer as they had visited the mortal plane recently.

Ares swished his tail as he lounged across some rocks oozing out steam occasionally,“So if I’m getting this right, their is planet eaters in the shape of small lion cubs that can travel through dimensional rifts and aliens?” He asked quizzically finding the news hard to believe.

Okros nodded his head,“I saw what I saw.... The purple seer named scanty? I think grows black tendrils and was trying to fight the beast to protect the brazen Viking lions. The only reason why I know about that pride/clan/tribe or whatever they want to call themselves is that they tried to domesticate bears as pets.” The brown furred male said with a shake of his mane before he turned his attention to Hannibal who found the whole situation hilarious.

But soon Ares and Okros was over done with the obnoxious cackling which resorted in them splashing water on Hannibal.

Hannibal truly couldn’t help himself as he rolled over the cool rocks cackling with soaking wet fur as he responded,“You guys- Do you know how dumb you both sound? Chuki would have told us about creatures like this since we’re his demigods. Duh...”

Ares rolled his eyes,“Or it’s all simply above our pay grade.” He said with a snort before screeching at the rainbow zebra who landed in front of them.

The Daeva’s weren’t laughing anymore when dead rainbow colored creatures with more mutations then the trio could count went falling into El Korongo.

By the murky waters of the Edrenje’s...
As Caspian stared harshly at the water her turned back on the dandy shores and made his way across the beach to a lioness standing on the rocks. He was about to move on but the two simply started to circle each other. Before the lioness bodied Caspian down to the ground.

Lanitra sighed and simply shook her head,“I know you miss her...But Kereenyaga put the travel ban down for a good reason. He is just trying to protect us... You will see her again and you will sail again, trust me my son.” She said softly.

Caspian grunted and got up shaking out his mane, his adoptive mother was right. No who was he kidding she was always right... So he gave her a soft hearty grumble and nuzzled her worn cheek.

Lanitra smiled tiredly as she nuzzled her son back before walking on,“Now your going to tell me what you saw out there or are you just going to leave me clueless as usual?”

Caspian chuckled,“Well remember the meteor I spoke of roughly seven nights back? I’ve been seeing things. Odd colorful things in the water and I don’t think it’s colorful kelpie lions either.” He said as the two walked the beaten path back to their pride homes.

In the Grassland plains of Safiri’s Oasis...
Pango simply grumbled as his daughter Cleopatra awoke him for morning duty... Morning duty more like duty when the stars were still shining with hours of sleep to go. He loved his daughter dearly but he was not looking forward to walking the beat with Diablo ever since his daughter decided to run off and leave the pride for life. It’s not like Diablo didn’t have a son in the pride still anyways.

But what startled him most was when his daughter shrieked. He was more than confused until he looked at his glowing paw pads,“Cleopatra if you don’t hush your going to wake up the whole pride. I expected more of you since your grown.” Pango hissed at her before trying to figure out the oddity that was his multicolored neon paws.

Cleopatra clamped her jaws shut and nodded,“Sorry father... Do you want me to wake Lochlan and the healers?”

Pango gruffly chuffed at his daughter,“No dear it will be ok.I’ll figure this out after duty now go to sleep and make sure to not wake Grimm or Esmerelda or Eustacia....” He said waving her off with his tail.

Meanwhile at the Bokmals of Valhalla...
As Skarde woke, she woke to the scent of freshly hunted fish toasting over a crackling fire. She was alone and well no one was allowed in her den unless she gave permission or they wanted to meet her. But she had a feeling her favorite teacher had stopped by to pay a sweet visit and to make sure she had food heating over her fire.

The lioness couldn’t help but smile as she got off her warm pelt while doing some stretches. The fish smelled absolutely delicious and as she turned to pull it off it’s spite she shrieked at its rainbow scales. Her first spiked up in horror as the fateful memories and scent of fire raged war in her mind. Everyone heard the poor Seer’s shrieks but no one could move their grounded paws to enter in her tent. They simply just gawked with belligerence.

But Ubbe came sprinting and barreled into her den to calm the shrieking lioness down with cuddles as he tossed the fish out the door.“Your fine Skarde... Uuk’oks Isn’t here it’s just the aftermath left in its wake. I’m here... I’m here...” He said softly.

Skarde nodded as she buried herself into his elegant mane. She was safe now and all that was left was colorful creatures...
