                     The Champions Return....

                     -Letaba-Achilles-

Though the rain has stopped, a flash of light similar to thunder strikes both plots, where once the two trees stood. Though there is no sound, until a large spirit-like dragon appears in the field, above the cats and creatures of decay, holding in its claws two small seeds, glowing with life. "Well well. It seems the two eternal rivals have finally done it... haven't they." it says, its voice husky with age and wisdom. "An eternity of struggle and strife, and finally they've reduced themselves to nothing. Just as it was always destined to be. Though It pains me that they would entwine others in their strife.." it humms, perhaps laughing "Well, it was time for a change anyway..."

It seems to read the somber mood, eyeing them with sympathy.

"With every failure, comes rebirth...a new chance." it pushes the tiny seeds into the earth, this time- together, where they could grow up beside one another instead of so far apart. "...And a new learning experience." Its tongue coils out another seed to join them, dropping into the earth. "For life, death, and rebirth are one, and perhaps, they will impress me this time." The ground where the seeds were planted began to glow, and slowly three tiny sprouts curled from the soil. One purple, one green, and one blue. Curling around one another.

Letaba stared at the spirit beast that had approached In front of them and felt her legs begin to tremble. This had been one hell of ride especially with everything that has happened to her and Achilles. But what the spirit was doing and saying straightened her out and brought a somber smile to her face. Then the beast has morphed into a dragon something that only the guardians had spoken about once in a blue moon. They were a rare sort and hard to acquire in the realm of Lo’Oasis Lo. But here he was in front of the two champions and billions of friends that had been formed during the fires that had recently died down. And was the key factor that brought her and Achilles back from the woods were they had rested and healed their lungs from the dastardly smoke laced rain storms. Letaba tail flicked with joy at the adorable little sproutlings and well even Achilles was jumping with joy at the signs of rebirth for the guardians and the birth of a knew a new guardian to keep the other two from well falling out and burning to the ground.

Achilles nuzzled his mate as they were suited up in their armor ready to fight again if they needed to but they had been stopped in the center of fueled when they rain and fire had died down to the soberest and somberest moment in there new world. His tail flicked quizzically as a beast came from the celestial sky and morphed into a legendary dragon noodle form. Achilles watched the creature speak solemnly and smiled as he united both fronts of the opposing sides. He explained both of the sides as well this was a prophetic vision of his and that he didn’t mean to bring fellow cats and felines into the center of it. Achilles was well slightly confused but he was grateful for it to be over with but he didn’t know what he and Letaba would do once they left. They obviously were from separate prides because she spoke different and acted entirely different from most of the lions he met from surrounding prides or his own. He would just asked her about that later it seems the guardian who graced them with his presence had more important duties for them. Soon beautiful sproutlings formed and the guardian looked over at all the creatures who watched in honor.

The dragon spoke up with a hearty chuckle, "Thank you heroes for this lesson you have brought. Even the ancients could stand to learn a thing or two from mortals with hearts as brave as yours....though certainly you're tired of this place. Allow me to offer you the way home... those who call this place home will care for this world from here, as was their duty from the start." Portals open behind each of the cats, summoned by this powerful creature, beckoning them to return to their homes, their lives.

As lions and cats left in right leapt through the portals after bidding fair wells to friends and lovers. Achilles and Letaba looked at each other with pure sadness in their eyes until they both quickly spoke up and over each other trying to speak up about what was on their hearts and minds. Until they repeated the process a few more times with Achilles ending it all and blurting it out louder then he meant to and earned a few stares.“Letaba I want to be with you and I-I have to know where your pride is and I have to clear up everything with mine!”

The lioness flushed squirming at his responses and under the heat of the other stares which was a first for her,“Achilles... I-I’m a archangel. We can’t be with each other just yet.” She flicked her ears at him as he just stared at her like she was crazy till her burst out loud laughing.

Achilles laughed softly,“I know Letaba... I knew since I was a cub and grew up strong. I could sense your aura. You were angelic....” He said with a soft smile looking at her shocked but happy smile. “Talk with Taa safi the oracles and shamans can show you to me in visions...” Achilles said softly to her and nuzzled her face.“Work with her so we can still see each other until I can join you forever in the heavenly realm only if you want to be with me.”

“Oh Achilles,I do or why else would I have chased after you when you summoned by the god of decay! I will she is more understanding then you think my love...I will miss you but it will only be fore for a bit I will send you my signs to remind you of my love!” She said quickly giving her mate some loving affection.“Now my love we have been stuck here forevermore and we should go before the portals close it seems we are the last ones here!” Letaba added as she surveyed they were the last ones with a open portal.

The two nodded to the dragon before intertwining tails and leaping through the portal to their home...Achilles landed on the soft grass sanded ground with the two prides waiting in front of his eyes. It had been only three days he was gone from the real world but it was thirteen total he was stuck in the other world. He smiled as tears rolled down his cheeks with joy. And he ran into his step-dad and mother’s warm arms. He gently nuzzled them as they looked him over and pride cheered with joy for him as Diablo gently removed his helmet so the prides can see Jengo’s and Chagina’s pride and joy. Achilles playfully bumped Diablo before he disappeared to be with his mate and cubs.

As Letaba crash landed into the soft billows of clouds she was in the presence of Taa Safi and the others of La Lluna. They were all cheering for her return and soon they all departed to give her and Taa Safi time to speak of all the wild times Letaba had experienced. She didn’t mean to talk her ear off but she seem intrigued especially with the idea of her new found mate. But soon enough she was blessed to roam the earth to visit her mate as long as she completes her tasks that Taa Safi assigns to her... And she was finally at ease in her life.So she sent Achilles a sign of their affections and time he saved her life: a squirrel which was a rare piece of fauna in the endrenje’s and oasis.

As Achilles feasted and chatted with his parents and friends he saw a squirrel dottle up to him before snagging a berry from his feet. It was grey with beady red eyes and Achilles instantly knew it was a sign from his loving mate that they were blessed to be together. His lips perked up with peace and sound mind of satisfaction.Soon he was distracted with his mother and cleared his throat softly.

“Mother?”Achilles said softly as she all ready knew how he came to be so big.

“Yes Achilles?” She said softly very worn out with stress from the past three days.

“Jovano was there... He came through the third portal with Samena. I- Ma... I’m so sorry for what I’ve done. I confronted him and exposed the truth to Samena... I didn’t mean to Ma. Honest, I was just so so angry.” He said softly to Chagina as he explained everything.

Chagina nuzzled her softly,“It is fine my sweet boy. You are finally home now....“
