As both sides of the battle fled to their respective areas while yet being close enough to each other to seize the talons of war. A soft whirring sound grew louder in front of the trio as Diablo nudged both of them awake. Then the portal appeared in front of the lions with sleep lancing their eyelids. Achilles perked up and looked at the two,“You both should go...I’ll stay here and help out.” He said softly and frowned gently as the other two quickly disagreed and then they round robined all of all the complaints. Until Letaba and Achilles looked at each other with cheeky grins.“Diablo you should be the one to head back.” As the orange male began to protest Achilles quickly pushed him through with the assistance of Letaba. The two lovers nuzzled each other but frowned as the portal wasn’t shutting then their eyes widened as two lions dipped through, one the color of sunsets, and the other laced with a flower crown. But still the portal of many celestial colors that lead to this realm still wouldn’t shut. Was more lions coming to  assist them? Maybe to pull them out but who knew at the moment.

As Diablo fought with the two lions he mentally adopted as his kids. He got distracted and that was the biggest regret he had ever done. Soon he was through the multi colored portal and back in his native territory on his face. Diablo lips quivered looking back at the portal debating to jump back in so Achilles and Letaba would make it back. But they did this so he could be with his family and well they would most definitely be honored if they don’t make it back out alive. Diablo jumped as a lioness with a flower crown leaped through the portal with her sunset looking colored mate. They were definitely a peculiar duo but the male was nice enough so Diablo struck up a conversation with him before the lioness snapped and the two were off and out of the territory for good. Yet he trotted on with his armor and stood in the middle of the empty clearing, most were still asleep while others hunted,baked,trained,nursed, or attended to the wounded. He was thankful to be back and feeling the soft sandy soil mottled with growing shrubs of the plains under his paws again. Diablo sighed in relief as the imps hadn’t caused too much destruction to his home. As the orange lion was about to trot into his den a small cub cried out  his name. He quickly ran over and nuzzled his son with complete joy as the pride slowly crept out until his mate barreled into him with soft sobs. Diablo nuzzled her softly and soothing licked her head before assisting her up and greeting his father-in-law the founder. He looked at Chagina and told her the gut wrenching news that her son decided to stay and fight but he is a strong lion now.Soon Diablo was regaling tales in response to the pride members questions....

As Letaba was making her way through the crow of reinforcement’s to make her way to their new home. She noticed Achilles was stopped by a small cub who definitely looked like Chagina. A lot like Chagina but more orange like Achilles... So she trotted over and chuckled as the cub thought Achilles was her dad but soon realized he wasn’t.

Achilles grinned and started bouncing up and down with joy like a small child excited for a new toy, his voice was braced with confusion at first but that had changed,“Samena! Your here! I haven’t seen you in forever! Letaba this is Samena my sister...”The two bantered on and Letaba explained to the child that the portal he had been sent through made him grow and develop into a adult.

When Samena called out for Jovano, Achilles whipped around and stared at his father who left him and his mother from yak milk.His face darkened with torment and his lips curled up in a menacing snarl,“Father...”And then the dumb fool just gaped at him like a dead fish. And then Jovano only said hi and that drove Achilles wild.

Achilles anger was righteous,“Just Hi? Father.... No, Achilles my dear boy oh how I’ve missed you? Just Hi?!?!” His spine was rigid and his claws were flexing with anger as Letaba brushed up by him to comfort her mate. Achilles just glared with a lashing tail.He didn’t run as Jovano floundered to explain and asked about Chagina and then the lioness that was brushing up against Achilles to get the angry pressure off him. Achilles stared at the sweating male who looked identical like him but with a fuller mane and longer tail wisps.

“Letaba some space please, it’s not you my love.” He said cooly. His voice was calm and then he invoked his wrath upon on his father for abandoning him. The orange lion seethed,“You don’t just get to leave and have the right to ask about Chagina!!!! Don’t do the deed if you can’t handle more then two cubs!” Achilles snarled in Jovano’s face before turning to cough as his throat was dry with rage.

“Oh your finally talking to me Jovano, why are you so worried about me and my mate? Hmm your trying to weasel your way into your third child’s life again? Well Guess what bub.I don’t want you and neither does mother. She’s moved on with a lion who was a hell of a lot better then you!!!”Achilles whipped around at Samena’s question and his face softened as his voice became dull and cold just like the iceberg he was on to find his father. Well now he was glad he never found his father and he wished he didn’t now.

Achilles stalked to his cub sister and retracted his claws,“Haro... Hero whatever her name is isn’t your mother. She didn’t give birth to you... Wonder why you and your brother looks different from your momma that’s why. Chagina is your true mother, such a shame you didn’t get to meet her or live with her you would have loved her.”

He watched Samena run off sobbing and cackled at Jovano’s face,“I’m not the monster here. Should have told your daughter who her real mom was and maybe you should have visited your other son. Good bye Jovano.” He couldn’t even call him father as a child and he didn’t deserve to be called father then.Achilles spat and sauntered off to his den and curled up with his mate sobbing into her soft shoulders.
