Character Families!

O I have families XD now here's how it goes, in my world families consist of a person, their siblings, their spouse and their best friend that they also marry, so they become their best friend ~forever~ (BFF). Families can grow quite big, as things an add on, you have a partner and BFF, and then they each they have their own BFF/partner, and those have /their/ own BFFs/partners and so on. They are still close to their parents, but things get a bit complicated ~on paper~

So here's my 2 main families:

Andrej is the leader of his family
He has a sister, Nina
Andrej has girlfriend Jade and best friend Tadej, he's not yet married/BFF married to them so they are not yet "officially" part of the family, but are still treated as such
Nina has a BFF Tim and husband Jure
Tim's soon to be husband is Cereal Killer not yet oficially family but treated as such
Cereal Killer's BFF is his knife
Jure's BFF is Simon
Simon's wife is Tina

Nina and Andrej's parents are Bunny and Richard
Tadej's parents are Theodore and Liliane who sadly passed away when Tadej was still a kid
Tim's mom is Jane, he doesn't know his dad
Cereal Killer doesn't know who his real parents are, but was adopted bought by Erica and Benjamin.
Jure's parents are James and Katie

Andreja is the leader of her family
She has a brother, Peter
Peter's BFF is Scarlett. Scarlett is married to herself
Peter's boyfriend is Edgar, but hasn't yet earned an official status in the family.

Andreja and Peter's parents are John and Carrie

Both families became closely connected to each other over time. They may be two separate families on paper, but they still consider themselves to be one big family :3

I have exactly one OC family!

Viktor is the dad, Alexander is the oldest son and Clyde is the youngest! Viktor isn't married, so there is no real "mom person" in the household - both of the kids have different moms. And both are lucky that there is no mom-person in the household - Alexanders mom was physically distant and only in a relationship to get some money, and Clydes mom was abusive.

Character families are something I've always really wanted to do, but never actually got to it :< Instead, I just create new universe after new universe :P

The most "family" I get with my characters and universes is a dad or mom, maybe even grandparents in a backstory but those don't really count since their minor characters and not somebody I would actually develop.

I, however, recently got a custom design done for a Chinese fictional dynasty I am planning. I hope to actually animate the entire lineage instead of having as a background and afterthought. It's in really early development so far and nothing has been updated to the TH profile, but I'm hoping to add a plethora of new, in-depth family who will actually be treated as a normal character rather than a minor character who won't even get a ref qwq

The full family sets I have are

• Aliester and his parents Aleksei, Reuben, and Matilda ^^ (Aleksei is his birth dad)

I also have a bunch of single parent and child families lmao ;; sry I have a ton of dads XD (I do have a couple ocs with single moms tho, I just... didn't turn the moms into ocs (yet? 👀) Lol)

Archer's family is prob my favorite XD I'm biased for Archer as a whole but his parents are very fun too ~ They're one of those opposites attract couples lol but I think they work out pretty well. Friedrichs whole personality is one I tend to like; he's an overly serious type but still can get embarrased over little things (and that's the fun part about him tbh xD) and Seraphina is just gorgeous and silly and lowkey the boss of the family lol

Aliester's family was more of a fun idea to come up with ^^ His parents were childhood friends who end up dating and then marrying each other XD  Both guys liked Matilda, and she liked them both too but couldn't choose so when she suggested to date both, the guys both agreed (Aleksei was more agreeable with it and he's not the jealous type either so he was fine with it, Reuben was a little more worried how it would work out at first but then complied since he'd be more comfortable with then than with anyone else). But anyway Aliester felt lucky to have 3 parents instead of 2 XD

Dhowran, my halfelf mercenary, is the father of Ferda. She was conceived during a one night stand. Her human mother, Mardun, works at an inn. Dhowran found out a month before the birth. He wanted to do the right thing, so he married her, dooming the both of them to a loveless marriage, that eventually ended in a divorce. Ferda took the divorce badly, but after a while she made peace with the idea. When she was 16 she started to learn witchcraft and join her father on his travels. She did this mostly because her mother made her work hard at the inn, and her father was a bit easier on her, and gave her as much time for study as she wanted. 

Dhowran and Ferda are very close, even though he doesn't always understand her when she talks about magic.

I don't have a sheet for Mardun, the mother, because my stories always focussed on the band of travellers, although they visited her on a regular basis because Ferda wanted to stay in touch with her mother.

Most of my characters are related considering my main story focuses on noble families being dumb. There are so many related characters, in fact, that I physically refuse to list/link them because I am on mobile and I know I would be here for like an hour trying to get them together.

My bnha mid gen (between current canon and my next gen Fic) is basically girl with baby boom quirk doesn’t know how it works and fucks up creating lots of kids

I still have yet to *fully* design family members for my characters, but its on my to do list because i plan on drawing family portrait inspired drawings in different styles to show how different their families are. i dont think id ever upload em as separate characters though, since theyre not really relevant to the story

A lot of my characters do have families, but they're "NPCs"

Diana is the black-sheep of her large, extended family, powers-wise.  She's the second-oldest from her parents. He older brother is a criminal she fights with her powers (he left the house, and Diana is a freshman in college), and her dad is the family member she's closest to.

Sparka and Marina are half-siblings (common dad). Sparka accidentally killed the dad, who killed her mom and abused his kids. Marina may have an older full brother, I'm unsure of this right now.

Jess has a twin sister, Brittany, and a younger brother, Alistair.  they have parents and a dog (Cooper the collie mix) on earth. They are bonded (share a soul with) to Luchens, so that's kinda family

DH and Anhrefn form an unofficial family unit.

Archer and Malcolm each belong to owners.

I don't have many family relations with my ocs besides these few:

Amadeus and his daughter Marie , they have a relatively normal life, nothing more and nothing less.

Rosario and his equally garbage son Pierrot , they're both gods and constantly abuse their powers for fun.
