Audun had found a variety of books in the same place she had found that grimoire, and after it had turned out to be a bust, she went back to the other books to see what they were. She was surprised to find what appeared to be two history books, though they were styled very differently. It didn’t take long just looking at them for her to realize that one was written by Dex, and the other written by humans. Out of curiosity she opened the Dex history book up and it began explaining in grim detail the betrayal of humans. Something she already knew quite well. She sighed sorrowfully and set the first history book down before picking up the other.

She began reading the human history book and after a few pages she came across a story that appeared to be about a band of heroes. A small group of humans that the other humans looked up to. The book was clearly singing their praise. Talking about how they were helping people and steering humanity in a better direction. Her eyes fluttered over one of the hero’s names. Had she seen this name before? She thought long and hard before a sinking feeling pressed down on her chest. She picked the Dex history book back up and looked through the pages she had skimmed. She pointed out the name she had just seen in the human history book. The name belonged to a member of one of the radical human groups that had brought upon the betrayal. She opened the two books and skimmed them both simultaneously and to her horror her suspicions were confirmed. The books were speaking of the same group. One side had hailed them as heroes, and the other had feared them as villains…
