Audun’s head seemed glued in place while her eyes danced across the pages of the book she was reading. She had merely only meant to read a little and then go back to working on her journal, but she had chosen a particularly interesting book. Now she couldn’t put it down! It was a Murder Mystery book, with many clues for the reader to follow yet just as many twists and turns to keep the end from being too obvious. Audun somewhat prided herself on her ability to see a book’s big reveal coming way ahead of schedule. But this book was very good at keeping the gears in her head turning.

She was convinced it had to be one of two characters. The disciple of the medium that had been found, stabbed in cold blood, who felt scorned and rejected by his teacher. Or the one who had hired her to be there that night for the séance, who appeared to feel cheated and betrayed when he learned his fiancé had fallen for the medium. It obviously wasn’t the dunce that both the suspects and the fiancé were trying to blame, who was clearly only there in the wrong place at the right time to take the fall for the real killer. Audun was absolutely gripped as she tried to figure out the truth before the book could even tell her. She was still juggling some ideas when she turned the page and her eyes widened as the reveal was finally given to her! The killer was...
