Promptober

Audun had come across a very strange opening under an old, abandoned human mansion that she figured led into some kind of wine cellar or something similar. But as she headed down the decrepit stairs and through a surprisingly long tunnel, she ended up in a place she did not expect to be down here. It appeared to be a dungeon of some sort. This was supposed to be the remnants of a home to wealthy humans, right? So why would they have something so dark and eerie built down here? Maybe that wasn’t an answer she’d want.

Just as she began to turn to leave, she heard a strange noise behind her, like rattling. Startled, she quickly looked over her shoulder to try and catch the source of the noise. Yet she was only met with an empty dungeon. She noticed a glint that caught her eye, looking to see it better. She realized it was a shackle, swaying softly. Seeing this, she quickly darted out of the dungeon and out of the mansion completely. She hadn’t felt any wind.
