About

Emrysian is a mainly Welsh religion dating back to the 1500s. Emrysians believe that dragons, of any kind, are a good omen and bring fortune and freedom to those who see them. To be a dragonblood is seen as the highest blessing of freedom and shows your unwavering faith.

They also believe people come back as animals, and that any animal who chooses to approach you is someone you used to know.

It is said that if one spots a fenix, a mythical phoenix-like dog, then Emrys has blessed you with a dragon side and has sent his faithful companion to let you know.

Emrys is seen as a ferrier of souls among many. It is believed he carries the soul to a ruined castle in the midst of a forest, where over an undetermined amount of time he ushers them into a new form, that of an animal they wish to be. Then he carries them to the living world again and sets them free.
