There are two types of deites in the Circleverse.
The first are the chosen kind. The ones who have been elected or volunteered to go out to a world and be a god of. These ones usually have a certain set of rules or guidelines to follow and abide by.
They are also usually immortalised through GU1 tech; nanobots in the bloodstream who constantly repair.
Anyone can become a deity through this method.
The second kind are those born into it.
Naturally immortal and naturally fitting the role needed of them, they seem to be either the decendants of the very first deities or have simply appeared. These guys take on roles such as Soul Seekers, Reapers and gods of pens-that-have-disappeared-to-the-void.
