A Brief Guide to the Branches
R
The R Branch, throughout most of the explored parts of it, is populated by humans. In most of the worlds humans are the main species, albiet where some catastrophe has happened and other creatures have risen to replace them. This Branch is rife with both magic and technology, though both do not always coexist.
O
This Branch is inhabited by dragons of varying species. Many worlds are ruled by them or subspecies such as serpents and dragonbloods, though in some of the earlier worlds humans have become dominant through invasion. Magic is commonly used here.
Later worlds are what you would call medieval, whereas earlier worlds are on par with the R Branch.
Y
The Y Branch has evolved from what it originally was; a Branch of spirits and ghosts. Now, many of the creatures who live in this world have a symbiotic relationship with the humans who came to live there, as well as with the animals. The spirits no longer float around within the worlds, they use humans as hosts for them to live in, to experience life.
It has been known for deities to use the humans in this world as a host, for the people expect it from the spirits so don't suspect it is something else.
G
The G branch has been dedicated to training merceneries and military personel. The military travel throughout the Complex, assisting in whatever they were assigned to. The mercenries are assigned to a world and charged with taking out any of the "Rifters".
GU1 is the Immortalisation hub. GU4 is main training world. The rest of the worlds in the Branch are treated as living quarters, food sources, training excersises and more.
B
The B Branch is a branch of darkness. Many of the worlds see no to little light, and the creatures living on them have evolved to cope in such conditions. Some worlds may have more light than usual, but still they are filled with darkness. Very few humans visit
I
The I Branch is a realm shaped by thought. Many worlds are the creation of an individual or a collective. Dreams and reality intertwine, so much so it's impossible to tell if you are in the real world or someone's mind.
V
For the V Branch, fire rules. The worlds are formed under fire and live under fire. The people are mostly phoenixes, salamanders and other fire resistant creatures. There is very little plant life to be found.
