Geckons were first created within a lab on GU2, a world dedicated to the science and research of natural fighting sources. They were intended for use in battle as fighting machines, steeds and paramedics on the field. This, however, didn't quite go to plan at first.
The few early geckons were deemed unusable after a handful of tests. Too weak, too own minded, or simply far too small. They were dumped and left to die out in the ruins of an old church. These few, though, survived and thrived into the wild population found in the south eastern half of the world today.
GU2 soon perfected the creation of these creatures and now have a fleet of steeds and a merciless army at their disposal.
