Q79. Do you have any AUs for your OCs?

Typically if I want to start a different world I don't take preexisting characters and make alternate versions of them, I just make new characters. That's probably why I have so many of these dang losers darlings. Most of my characters fit into the ginormous universe I've already set out for them and very few of the worlds within them are really parallel, so there's always the chance anyone could run into anyone else. I mean, even when I make alternate versions of a character, like... oh I dunno, turning Darian into an Absol person, it doesn't stay like that for very long, and now Dramida and Darian are two separate characters galazies away from each other but could still potentially run into each other. ^^; I'm not really into the whole AU thing I guess. Although I suppose normal Lady Anatola is waaaaaaay different than GaiaOnline Lady Anatola. XD

I think the characters that get the most what-if scenarios are the folks from Delinked. It's never that expansive and usually just a single story, but I tend to experiment with their fates along the road and have yet to determine if it's going to be canon or not. A few things for sure I know aren't canon, like a scenario where Alec gets killed in a driveby shooting instead of his father. I've also played around with the notion that Conner ends up misusing his ability over Mana and ends up ruling over this dystopian world in a totalitarianistic regime.

I also sometimes take the characters from RMTL and toss them in minor roles of other stories when I need regular humans. It's usually when I need some characters that are well developed and can display their development very quickly once introduced so they can get murdered or something. XD Already threw Gretchen, Walter, Leila, Lloyd, Eileen, and Sean into the prologue of a horror story I was writing because I needed victims. They die enough in their main story, what's another time in another world gonna hurt?

Oh right, when Demi is doing one of her whirlwind history lessons she drags quite a few people out of their normal stories to play as extras. Quite a few of them acknowledge it as canon, but a handful won't know what you're talking about if you try to bring it up later. Like, Neoka will remember each incident precisely, but my Pokemon trainer gal who's involved the most actually has nothing to do with the world everyone else comes from. ^^; And now that I mention it, my little Pokemon world is basically an AU of sorts of Minty-Fivestar 's Pokemon world because I'M A WEIRDO LIKE THAT HU HU HU HU HACK and then my version also has a one time Romeo and Juliet version that's even more nonsensical. XD

i gotta make another post about AUs later... reading everyone's kept reminding me of how many more i have and how many more i want to talk about; man when you've got like 1000 ocs it's super easy to make AUs about anything and everything. also i gotta comment on some of them too because all of your AUs are beautiful, beautiful things

Q80. Are any of your OCs religious?

This is, uh... kind of a complicated question. In almost all of my stories the characters are either deities themselves or they interact with them fairly regularly. For example, the Lilaverse revolves around a bunch of people (the Tested) stuck playing out deadly games for the almighty being who created them, but said almighty being is only one of many (Them) and the rest think she's kind of weird and an asshole. As such, They often interface with the Tested and most of the Tested are pretty familiar with Them. All of them know exactly what's waiting for them after death and they know the exact circumstances of their creation, so religion isn't a thing most of them really have a concept of.

Likewise, in Asthenopia angels and demons are very visible in society. Believing in anything other than what's right there really isn't a thing there, and if anyone thought otherwise the Higher Angels would probably kick them into Hell because they're assholes like that.

Essentially, pretty much everyone I have uploaded here either chills with their deities all the time, is a diety who chills with their followers all the time, or figures anything is probably possible but doesn't think much of it. Exciting stuff!

Q81. Which OC of yours does the most planning ahead?

Nolan, hands down. Even before he found himself in the Hellspital(tm) he was always the sort of person who liked to thoroughly plan things out and keep a schedule. He'd plan out what he was going to eat weeks ahead, make notes of everything on all of his... syllabi?, plot out when he would study for school, rotate between different activities during scheduled free time, etc. He likes to make sure he's responsible, timely, and always has time for whatever he needs to get done.

He hasn't done so much personal planning in the past few years given his situation, but on a grander scale, well...

Q82. Which OC of yours is the biggest procrastinator?

Definitely Bonnie, hands down. Like most college students (esp me) he pretty much never does homework until the very last minute, doesn't study until half an hour before the exam, and won't even think about papers until the night before they're due. He also puts off things like cleaning, going shopping, and confronting the feelings of existential dread that haunt him more and more with each passing day. He's gotten better about procrastinating since shacking up with Zhirael, but not that much better.

Somday I'll finish adding all my babies to that Pokemon type question. XD

Q80. Are any of your OCs religious?

Hm, well everyone in my main universe is aware of the existence of deities, so I dunno how applicable the word religious would be in that context. It's not a matter of what you believe in, it's a matter of which deities you show loyalty to, if any. However in the sense of praying to that deity for their favor (or in some cases, for them to turn their eye away if they're misfortune deities), then yeah, a lot of my characters are "religious." The majority of the mortals are alligned with Lord Dalia, the god of life. Almost all Eksel are alligned to Lady Yashana, the goddess of death. Although demons don't really pray or anything, almost all of them show loyalty to Blacc Katt, the god of demons. Very few people actually identify as loyal to the Valkyrie Skye, the goddess of spirits, since she doesn't usually affect the realms outside of the Last Lands (the final resting place of all souls), but everyone does respect her since everyone ends up in the Last Lands one way or the other.

Aside from that, there's a bunch of Elemental Gods that are a step below those four. Most rifters (or basically magic users of a certain element) are loyal to the deity that represents their element, since that's where their power comes from. Then there's another tier of deities that are a bit more specific to regions of the Eternity that you may be loyal to since they watch over your homeland or whatever. There are few characters of mine that aren't affected by these deities or are unaware of their existence.

Q81. Which OC of yours does the most planning ahead?

Let's see... Well, Cal keeps his schedule pretty full and organized since he loves being involved in everything and all them student organizations and social events and whatnot. Since he ends up doing so much he always needs to plan far in advance to avoid overlaps and whatnot. Lancer and Marquis head a huge trade ring/corporation so they're always well planned, Argent is a Lieutenant Commander and keeps his schedule organized well in advance, and Cyan always has a bunch of appointments planning for the future since she's a surgeon. Dremvati loves having everything scheduled in advance and whatnot, but she's had so little to do with her job that's she's getting bored that she's not totally booked. Since Spite runs the Blacc Marquette, he's always got everything planning ahead of time and is difficult to get an appointment with in a timely manner, although he does make time for choice individuals on a walk-in basis. Vahlent and Jack are both do plenty that requires careful scheduling, with Vahlent heading a private school system and Jack running multiple jobs, so neither can really do too much without proper planning. Slamen handles all the job scheduling, finances, stocking, and all that jazz for the caravan he travels with, so he always seems to be strides ahead of everyone when it comes to preparing.

Q82. Which OC of yours is the biggest procrastinator?

I want to say Sean, but I'm not sure if he counts since he's perfectly okay with not doing anything at all rather than waiting until the last minute to do something. XD He only gets things done if nagged and deadlines don't really affect him unless they're set by people he really cares about, but even then he's a bit sluggish with getting to it. Neoka doesn't intentionally procrastinate and usually is the last to hear about important things or is, "Wait, that was today?!" about stuff he needs to do. ^^; He tries his best, but he has a shaky memory about his committments. Probably because he's always shapeshifting into various people or even different versions of himself and shifting into their mindsets... so when he morphs into a past version of himself so he doesn't have to do laundry or something he also shifts into that past mindset and forgets about a third of the things he's committed to until he's reminded again. And Mark always procrastinates because his twin sister is always on the ball and he can usually rely on her to bail him out anyway.

Q83. Which OC of yours is the most easily discouraged?

In other words, who's likely to give up something that they're doing the fastest/easiest, even if it's something they like? Who's the most affected by slip-ups, mistakes, delays, and people trying to tear them down?

Probably Kanon. He's so concerned about the feelings of others that if someone tells him to give up, he'll drop everything in an instant and apologize for even trying to make anything out of his life. Usually his brother will step in and encourage him to go onward, but if Kanon was on his own there's no doubt he'd just let everyone walk over him and suffocate any dreams he has. It doesn't help that he's sensitive about failing and sees every mistake he makes as the end of the world... if he messes up something once he's pretty sure that means he should never touch what he was attempting to do again out of fear of tainting it for everyone who's good at it.

Q61. Which of your OCs is the loudest ?
Arthur often talks a lot but he does not talk loud... The loudest would probably Wes. He does not talk that much, but when he does, he may talk loud. He does not mind if people hear him, or if he is annoying someone. He can be noisy when doing things. Like, if he was your roommate, he would wake you up during the night by slaming the toilet's door.

Q62. Are any of your OCs in relationships ?
Yes, Eden and Arthur are in a couple. This was not planned at all, I did not want to ship together my OCs that were meant for roleplay but it just....happened. Eden and Arthur were both friends of some character played by my friend, and this character made them meet and they had to interact with each other... and they quickly became really good friends. They were a good team of three friends, always hanging together, really close to each other. And, like, two years after, things happened and Arthur and Eden became a couple. This was totally unplaned and unwanted, but, yes, I am the kind of roleplayer that often let his characters live and act free without trying to controlling them...and these two were just meant to be together, I just was not aware of it. Now they have been a couple for four years and still truly love each other.
It is kind of the perfect relationship : they trust each other, are really cuddly and affectionate, and are still deeply in a love, a true, strong love. Eden being moody and grumpy, they do have some fights, just like every couple does, but never big fights or troubles. The only bad-side may be about sex, as Eden is not into sex at all and is rather tight-ass, while Arthur really loves sex and can barely content himself with a single partner (he does not associate sex with love, he can have sex with any stranger that looks good, then even his deep love for Eden can not satisfy his sex drive). So, yeah, after having tried to "unblock" Eden to make him accept some more diversified positions, or some accessories, he ended up having sex with some one-night stands he would randomly find in the street.... He just can not refrain his sex drive.
However. These two are my beloved couple now, and I hope they will never break up.
Some others have been in relationships too (Amadeus, Wes and kind of Alastyn), but their partner's roleplayer is not roleplaying anymore, so... they broke up.

Q63. Which OC of yours is the most prone to illness ?
Amadeus has a rather weak immune system and easily gets ill. Maybe because his mother was really fussy and overprotective to him, and Amadeus as a kid never experienced dust, mud or even animals, then he could not train his immune system. Also, he is albino, so he gets sunburns easily. He was a prematurate as well, it does not help his immunities.

Q64. If your OCs were in a video game, what genre would it be?
Wes, Shiro, Maeda, Esteban and Prof. Bleykasten would obviously be in a Pokemon game.
Arthur, Eden, Kaoru and Amadeus would be in some really simple game like The Sims...
Alban and Atlan would appear in a fantasy RPG game, a japanese one probably.
As for Elijah, Cherinee, Diey, Galico, etc, well, uh....some anthro version of Far Cry Tribal? '-'

Q65. Which OC of yours does the most reading?
Kaoru really reads a lot, he could spend his days reading. He mostly reads realisticish fictions, things that are set in our own universe, but may have some bits of unusual situations and events (like, one book about a very normal guy that suddenly encouters God...). Eden, Amadeus and Arthur loves to read too. Eden loves the same kind of books than Kaoru, but adds lots of science fiction (mostly futuristic things) and scientific vulgarisation books. Arthur reads almost every style. Amadeus enjoys lots of things too, but he has a soft spot for romance he would not admit. Also fantasy.
Shiro reads a lot too but not fictions, he only read books about history, sociology and his region's legends.

Q66. Which OC of yours has the best sense of direction? The worst?
Arthur has a rather good sense of direction in towns. He can visit a city he does not know at all without getting lost.
Alastyn has a good sense of direction on the ocean. Even without seeing any coast, he often "senses" in which direction he has to go.
Kaoru, however, gets lots really easily, even in his own town.

Q67. Do you have any OCs that are morning people? How about night owls?
Amadeus and Alastyn rather are morning people, they like to wake up early and go to bed early. At the other side, Eden likes to stay late at bed (like...until 1pm on holidays) and have an hard time going to bed early, feeling better at night. Wes prefers night as well, because it helps him to act unoticed... Also, as he was born in the desert, he used to go out at night rather than in the hard heat of the day.

Q68. Which OC of yours has the strongest sense of justice?
Arthur has a really strong sense of justice. He loves everything to be just and fair, without being laxist. He think it is just to work more to get more, but he think everyone should be rewarded at the same amount for the same amount of work, and he would not tolerate any form of injustice. He also have a strong sense of morality and does not tolerate any form of theft or swindling.
Eden and Amadeus have a really strong sense of justice as well but more on the moral side. They do not tolerate any kind of disrespect but are not fighting that much for equality neither.

Q69. Which OC of yours is the most sexually active?
Arthur of course. Most of my characters are not much interested into sex, or only want it inside a strong relationship. While Arthur is quite a whore. He wants sex a lot, and is hardly satisfied. He will have sex with both males and females, and it does not matter at all if he does not know them and will not see them anymore after some sexual intercourse.

Q70. Which OC of yours likes memes the most?
None of them is that much into memes... Arthur probably likes websites like 9gag but without being that fond of memes.

Q71. Which OC of yours would want to pilot a giant robot the most?
ME. Well, no, okay. Arthur, probably. Yes, he would love this. He would be ready to pay lots for this.

Q72. Which OC of yours would be the most willing to eat something strange?
Maledice would eat anything, as long as it looks edible. He is a stray dog, struggling to find food, and he is dumb anyway, then he would eat an old abandonned chair or some dead cockroach.
Humans-wise, Eden is fairly open-minded and would eat anything, as long as he is sure it is clean and healthy. Like, fried crickets or cooked worms? No problem. But picking some worms in a trashcan? No way. Arthur would probably try it as well, but not with the same curiosity than Eden that would actually look for new food experiences.

Eden does not care at all about death. He thinks there is nothing at all after death, you do not feel anything as your brain is "disconnecred", your mind, thoughts and feelings does not exist any more, then there is nothing to fear at all about death. A dead person does not even know they are dead, they do not suffer, they do not regret, they do not feel, they are not sad and feel no pain at all, then what is the problem with being dead? He would not care at all if the doctor told him he would die within the month. At least, not for himself. Because, while he would not mind much being dead, he would feel really bad for his boyfriend. Deads does not feel, it is those who remains alive that feel the pain of someone's death. He does not want to die because he does not want to hurt his lover. He would be welcoming to his own death, but not to the death of others, and not welcome the fact his death may be destroying for someone else.
The one that would not care much about other's death would be Wes, who would probably not care much, even if a friend of him dies... As long as it is not his Umbreon or his Espeon. But he would more hardly accept his own death.

Q74. Which OC of yours is the wealthiest? Who's the poorest?
Arthur is a daddy's son, he is born rich. He is now the head of an affiliate of his father's international company, and is getting a really good salary already.
Amadeus comes from a rather wealthy family as well, but not as wealthy as Arthur's family. And now that he does not live with his mother anymore, he actually became the poorest of my charas, struggling to get enough money to buy food monthly, and living in some really crappy appartment...

Q76. If your OCs were Pokemon, what types would they be?
Alastyn would definetely be a water type.
Amadeus would probably be a normal type, or maybe fairy ? Let's say normal-fairy.
Arthur would be......well I have no idea at all @__@
Eden...? I don't know neither....
Shiro would be a fire type for sure.
Kaoru would be a normal type, or maybe normal-psychic ?
Maledice would be a dumb and useless normal type Pokemon with shitty capacities.
Wes would be a ground or rock type. His element would be sand, I think ground would be the closest. He would be a Pokemon from the desert. Actually, he would be a ground-type eeveelution.
Diey would be a psychic type.
Maeda would be a ground type as well, linked to dust.

Q77. Which of your OCs is the messiest?
Wes. He does not mind at all, his home is just all messy and dirty. He is a lazy ass and will just throw his stuff anywhere in the room. He does not have much things anyway then nothing to look for.

Q78. Which OC of yours likes animals the most?
I have several animal lovers....
Amadeus loves most animals. Mostly fluffy things, as he is rather afraid of insects, spiders and reptiles. But he loves cute animals, loves to cuddle them and take care of them.
Eden loves to cuddle with any animal as well, but this include insects and such. Any animal is good enough for a hug. Also, his own animal, his pet bird, is the most important thing to him. He would die for her.
Diey, as a deity, is a protector of the nature and the wildlife, so we may say he loves animals ?
Malédice loves every moving creature on earth and would try to befriend anything that moves. And if they do not want to be his friend, he would eat them. He still have to survive, after all.
Viao is a lioness who loves insects. She tame them, befriend them and keep them with her. Many of the pride's females are disgusted by her little companions but she does not care, she loves them more than her own. And her mate accepted it anyway, and is now accompanied by some butterflies of Viao that kind of felt in love with him.
Wes, Shiro and Bleykasten loves Pokemons a lot, aren't they animals as well ? Wes is mostly close to his own Pokemon team, Shiro cares more for his three favourites, and Bleykasten is fascinated by every Pokemon species (this is why he is now a passionate zoologist (or should I say Pokebiologist).
So, which one loves them the most? I would say there is no answer to this. Some only love certain species, some only love certain individuals, and most of them have a different way of loving them.

Q79. Do you have any AUs for your OCs?
Not much... I usually only go for roleplays that fits to my character's universes so it can be "cannon". They can remember about it and stuff, even if nothing special happened and it can be forgotten. I do not feel comfortable putting my character in alternate universes. Actually I am not even sure how it works. Is it like "let's pretend my character is in a couple with yours in this universe, while he is married to someone else in another universe" ? If this is the thing, I do not want to do it.
But I may eventually roleplay my characters in situations that would not be kept on their main story. This is mostly for my characters that were created for personnal stories rather than roleplay. Like, Elijah was made for some story writing and only certain species exists in his universe, but I am currently roleplaying him with someone playing a whole tribe of a species that does not exist in his universe, but I do not care, it helps me develop my character's personality but I will not keep what happens in this roleplay in my main story. So yeah I guess I may play some of my characters in universes that does not totally fit them, but it would mostly be for my story characters, and not my roleplay characters.
The only kind of alternate universe I would do is alternate times, like, a character than I would play in different stages of his life. But it would still be the same universe and I would try to make sure everything can match....

Q80. Are any of your OCs religious?
Yup. First, among the humans, Amadeus is a christian. He was raised by a very religious family, doing his prayer before every meal and before going to bed. He was taught creatinionism, the Bible and such. But he started to doubt of God after his father's death (either God does not exist, either he actually is a cruel being that kills his most devoted subjects and then destroy the life and heart of some others of his most devoted, loyal and sinless subjects.... whatever the answer is, Amadeus feel like he does not want to pray that God anymore). He now is quite unsure about God, and does not pray much any more and would not go to the church any more. However, he still hold on some christian rules like "no sex before marriage" and "homosexuality is a sin" (which is a bit problematic because he actually loves men).
Beside this, every character from my Verae universe is religious. It is a tribal (prehistoric like) universe, and I focus on 5 tribes of people. Each tribe is leaded by a deity, a god that is like a spirit of nature with high powers. These gods truly exist. But they are not the creators of the universe. However, every "mortal" believe in them and worship them. They believe in the existence of all of the five gods but only worship the one that is linked to their tribe. So, as an example, Elijah (and all of the lions) worships Diey, the fox tribe worships Ketwie, the bear tribe worships Galico, the mouflon tribe worships Anouk and the deer tribe worship this thing that I have not named yet. (do you have any name idea?)

Q81. Which OC of yours does the most planning ahead?
Amadeus loves everything to be planed and may do list and schedules of everything. He loves when everything is neatly organized.
Arthur has a strict planning as well but only for professionnal things, he does not plan much his personnal life.

Q82. Which OC of yours is the biggest procrastinator?
Definitely myself.

the answer to this is a very strong yes and i also have a lot of ocs who originated from dreams but i'm super tired atm so i'll answer this in detail later

i did once have a dream where 5inthemorning 's character dee had a vending machine chain though that contained the options "nachos" and "death", good dream imo

also i just had a dream the other night that had an oc of someone here on toyhouse just kinda hanging out in the background but i can't for the life of me remember what oc it was... don't think it was anyone who i really interact with in any capacity though
