Crossbow glove

A long range weapon light enough to be attached to Berry's arm. Its regular shots are pretty average. Once fully charged after 3-5 minutes, it's a death sentence for any gemstone that isn't hard as a diamond. The energy consumption, however, makes it impossible to fire more than 2 charged shots in a row.

story & relations

Berry was one of the seven elbaites who traveled with Blue's diplomats to Pink's colony. She was always open to the idea of cooperating with her fellow comrades while still keeping enough autonomy to do what she felt was right. Berry heavily enjoined adventuring around the planet as well as the battle frenzy once the war finally started. She was also by far the most charismatic among the tourmalines which later gave her access to private information of many individuals.

When the first elbaite death occurred, Berry didn't think much of it. Sure, it was kind of surprising, but ultimately didn't care about that gem anyway... The second victim, however, completely switched her views on the situation. While she still made sure to contribute her hard work on the battlefield, Berry spent free time talking to everyone who's associated with tourmalines, including squadmates themselves. Her persistent, goal-oriented charm earned her a lot of trust and knowledge... Maybe TOO much knowledge...

On a foggy morning, 5140 b.S., some of her shards were found near Homeworld's camp, becoming the third victim of the elbaite assassin.

Like all of us, Melon was quiet at first and grew more social overtime. But lately, she started acting quite paranoid. Talking how we all going to be shattered or the fact our enemy is constantly watching. I don't know how about you, but that behavior seems suspicious.

Let's be honest, did any of us even liked them? So bossy and self-centered just because they were partially owned by the highest of diamonds. 1A9 was especially fixated on me and 8S0.

So clumsy and pure. To be fair, I have a hard time differentiating if it's the greatest fake disguise I've ever seen on a watermelon or honestly Dot's personality. Probably a mix of both. *sigh* (I genuinely miss having Dot around).

4K2 is pretty calculated, but also way more chill than 1A9 ever was. Always so calm, concentrated and delicate when it comes to making decisions as well! Even though Copper's weapon is the most inconvenient of our group, she's definitely very elegant with it. It's clear her tourmalinish "green side" is the superior one. Doesn't matter to me tho, I prefer the pink spectrum, if you know what I mean, hehe!

Eyyyyy, fellow pink buddy! (Hope she knows there's a room only for one of us). Anyway, I want to squeeeeeeze her stupid cheeks soooo badly! Yes, I'm aware 8S0 hates it, but come on! At least I'm not making a COMPLETE fun of her, which cannot be said about the rest.

The diamonds: "I can't wait for Pink's colony to be finished! I'll finally move out of Blue's planet and have my own hideout here. No offense to Blue or any other diamond, but this is OUR property! MY property, NYEH HEH HEH!"

Crystal gems: "Clods, that's all they are. But I admit, the rebels are more resilient than one might assume. Additionally, they're smart as well. TOO smart for my liking... Hmmmmm, let's see who's the real mastermind of fakeness between us two."

Earth: "You mean the greatest upcoming colony of all time~? Oh trust me, I'm prepared for everything. First, I'll shatter Rose Quartz and bring her shards back to my diamond. Second, I'll become a celebrated hero of Pink's court. Third, I'll use my status to claim valuable land on this planet. Forth and final step, be the best known gem on the colony!"

The war: "It's a necessary purge of off-colors. If we deal with these clods now, they won't spoil the beauty of my diamond's colony later. Now head to the battlefield!"

Cross-gem fusions: "Eww, gross. Have you seen their messed up eyes and conjoined limbs?! How disgusting. Good thing we're getting rid of them."

Disguise missions: "I have several personas ready to be used. They're a bit embarrassing to play as outside of work, but I can give you a quick showcase if you don't laugh. *Clears throat* 'YEAK! Oh, hi-? Y-y-you're not gonna hurt me, right? *👉👈* Oh thank you, THANK YOU!! *Giggles* I'm so grateful you've shown up, hehe! I-I was running away from some citrines a-a-and now I'm lost. Will... W-will you help me~?' Aaaand this is the moment the off-color lowers her head enough to be shot."

Elbaites: "Well besides being OBVIOUSLY~ the best one around, the others are cool too. Frankly, I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying their company. Yes yes, nothing in war remains eternal, Dot proves that fact well, but still! I'm trying not to dwell on it too much when my other comrades are still around."

Nickname: "I was a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out elbaite nicknames are great indeed. I feel much more memorable as Berry."

Elbaite killer: "Thorn's been helping me forget about the elbaite killing by showing me how to prepare and detonate bombs. How kind of her!... -I guess??? Anyway, I never considered how fun the explosions can be! They're full of light, energy, and dessstruction, nyeh heh Heh HEH HEH!! (My stalagmites, that was a weird thing to say out loud...)"
