Abilities
1. Slow fall
2. Hidden gem
3. Four arms
4. Charged shot
1.Thanks to the "magical" cape, watermelons can slowly and elegantly fall down from high places.
2.Watermelons are surprisingly fragile and therefore must make sure to protect themselves adequately. One way of doing so is to completely submerge their gemstones inside the physical form.
3. Elbaites have so well developed coordination skills that they can easily control another pair of arms. So why not take an advantage of it and shapeshift them from time to time.
4. After fully charging their weapon, it becomes extra deadly.

Weapon
Mini sniper rifle
A long range weapon silent enough to go unnoticed. Its regular shots are pretty average. Once fully charged after 3-6 minutes, it's a death sentence for any gemstone that isn't hard as a diamond. The energy consumption, however, makes it impossible to fire more than 2 charged shots in a row.
Trivia
- Captain was created with the sole purpose of dying in my main oc's backstory
- They have an unofficial nickname "carrot"
- Their ship with Dot was created spontaneously and out of jealousy to Thorn x Berry
story & relations
Captain was one of the seven elbaites who traveled with Blue's diplomats to Pink's colony. Being the only tourmaline belonging to White, Homeworld generals decided to put them in a temporary lead of the other elbaites, heavily advising them to stick together for the time being. However, almost nobody from the newly assembled squad welcomed this change with open arms, meaning Captain had to be relatively strict to keep high-enough morale.
Despite all the struggles, their team managed to cooperate for many years, even once the war officially began. Their problems were far from over though. Without a clear reason, all the elbaites strangely struggled with assassinating the rebel leader herself, Rose Quartz. Even though Captain was no better than their tourmaline comrades, they became quite vocal about how displeasing the results were, acting more controlling and aggressive than ever before. Along with Watermelon 2H0, they also began pressuring their real higher-ups, questioning their methods of commanding armies. With each year, Captain was more critical. Maybe TOO much critical...
On a sunny day, 5142 b.S., Captain went missing. After 3 days, their shards were found on one of the established sniping points, becoming the first victim of the new threat, elbaite assassin.
Relations
Facet-K04 Cut-2H0
2H0 doesn't stand out a lot, which is ideal. It's nice to see an elbaite that acts relatively normal. Hopefully, she remains this way.
Facet-ZL3K Cut-Y03
She's wasting valuable potential by her stubbornness and chaotic beliefs. If she had at least a tiny bit of self-control, I wouldn't hesitate calling her the best elbaite among our squad. The fact she somehow survived on Homeworld without taking on disguise missions is impressive. Perhaps years of working under White could fix her. For now... I'll just tolerate her hatred.
Facet-B3B3 Cut-G1F
Hm, they seem more enthusiastic about working in a team than the rest of us combined. Good, perhaps others will adapt B3B3's mentality as well. It would certainly create a controllable and pleasant environment for everyone.
Facet-S7R Cut-A08
Pinkish brat. Gem puts their eyes off her for five seconds and she adventures away, likely to steal something. Please remind me why I should care about Pink's court again...
Facet-M1L6 Cut-4K2
Witnessing her speak is rarer than seeing a truthfully loyal Pink's quartz. I would be grateful if 4K2 shared her overabundance of self-control with Thorn, heh. 4K2's behavior reminds of the many neptunites I had the pleasure to work with, minus the fact they're not as deadly. Overall, I'm looking forward to spending more time alongside her.
Facet-PW2L Cut-8S0
GrEaT, more off-colors. Aren't half the gems on our enemy's side also defective? Gosh, what's with Pink and her subjects...
THE Hessonite
By no means the heroic Hessonite is a bad commander, far from it. I deeply respect her decisions! And yet... I cannot help but think that she's maybe intentionally prolonging the war. It's the best opportunity to show off her greatness, after all.
Opinions & details
The diamonds: "Pink is a bit of an unskilled leader, but I'm faithfully ready to fight, even die, for the remaining three. Bless our mighty empire!"
Earth: "With how the Earth colony looks so far, no wonder it took Pink ages to receive one."
Crystal gems: "Enemies that must be eradicated. Nothing more, nothing less."
The war: "The development of the conflict is... not ideal. It's taking far too long. Rose should have been shattered by now. Perhaps I need to implement 2H0 methods to my schedule. She might be on something with those spy theories."
Cross-gem fusions: "Fusions... What truly makes them undesirable? Is it the color? No, numerous varieties are multicolored. Multiple gemstones? Conjoined rutiles tend to have just one. Unstable personality? Certain members of our squad are nothing but unstable... Perhaps the hideous looks and unnatural limbs? Well, look at us. Do I really have to continue-"
Disguise missions: "While I do prefer to play as the 'protective quiet' type, I'm no stranger to act gullible or friendly. At the end of the day, it's my job and purpose."
Elbaites: "Call me a hypocrite, but I'm not a fan of us. From what I've seen at military gatherings, balanced elbaites are hard to come by. Especially Pink's gems, which is the VAST majority of elbaites, have a tendency to be or become quirky. Need an example? Just look at our other teammates."
Nickname: "I have no need for this naming game. If others can't call me by my code, then my job position is the only alternative I accept."
Captain role: "Not the wises decision in my opinion, but I still treat it with honor!"
