Sniper pistol

A long range weapon handy enough it can be summoned to each arm. Its regular shots are pretty average. Once fully charged after 3-5 minutes, it's a death sentence for any gemstone that isn't hard as a diamond. The energy consumption, however, makes it impossible to fire more than 2 charged shots in a row.

story & relations

Dot was one of the seven elbaites who traveled with Blue's diplomats to Pink's colony. Upon learning they and all the other tourmaline are commanded to stay together as a team, Dot was the only one genuinely happy about such a change. They were never a fan of the idea that elbaites work alone. Because of this, Dot did everything to insure their comrades felt comfortable around each other. They obeyed every command given by their leader and tried to present it to others in a engaging way. Dot also organized free time activities, comforted those who needed it, or made teammates laugh to keep high moral. Even when the official war began and tourmalines no longer had to spent time together, Dot still kept everyone in a relatively close contact.

Dot was shocked to hear their elbaite captain later mysteriously died on the battlefield. Unlike the rest, they genuinely missed their boss. Nevertheless, Dot continued fighting and socializing with everyone. After all these years, there was no doubt they were the most popular and beloved among the elbaites...! Maybe TOO loved...

On a quiet evening, 5141 b.S., bits of their shards were found buried near Homeworld's camp, becoming the second victim of the elbaite assassin.

I'm well aware one of the recent tragedies touched her just as me. If only that could be said about the other tourmalines... Hmm, perhaps by being the second youngest, the idea that elbaites aren't immortal makes her more uneasy. Other than that, 2H0 is a relatively good teammate. Very adaptive with a great potential to be our future leader. She sometimes wonders off to do her own things, but always comes back. I definitely made her more extroverted, haha!

Ohhh Captain, they won't be forgotten. I do admit, 1A9 was too harsh at times, especially on Berry and Puffer. That said, agates or garnets aren't any better. They did their job well.

Oh Thorn, she isssssss... Eeeeeeee, how do I put this politely... Heavily INCOMPATIBLE with social settings, to the point it limits her job. Trying to include her into our activities is exhausting at best. Hmmm, maybe I'm just not the right gem to do it. I don't know, Berry somehow managed to speak with Thorn on a couple of occasions, so she can't be that big of a lost case.

It's great to have at least someone willing to cooperate right from the beginning. I've always been jealous of other gem varieties making friends among each other, while us melons stay apart. Berry showed me my dreams of union are possible and motivated me to become the team's spirit. I'm so thankful for her!

Not the most talkative, yet not a troublemaker either. I have the suspicion 4K2 doesn't actually enjoy working with other elbaites, but keeps it to herself. Guess she hates making drama.

I don't understand why some teammates turned her into a punching bag. She's slightly bigger than most elbaites, so what?! Puffer is just as amazing in our job as the rest, if not better. She can defend herself and others whenever needed. Puffer also enjoys my company the most. You should go on a walk or play card games with us every so often!

Opinions & details

The diamonds: "We're here thanks to them, what more to add... Oh! Let the stars bless them, especially Pink!! She deserves this colony."

Crystal gems: "I see what their point is, buuuuuuuuut- Eeeeee, I don't know... Declaring war against diamonds, the beings who gave us the opportunity to experience the wonders of life, is a stretch. Surely, there has to be a diplomatic way to solve some of their issues."

The war: "To be fair, I'm not used to taking part in big conflicts. This war feels a bit overwhelming. However, I'm eternally grateful for meeting the other elbaites! I can finally socialize with gems without awaiting the day I'll have to shatter them... Unless they pass away in the hands of the rebels, I guess.... Ehhhhh... HEY, cheer up! Let's do something fun instead!"

Earth: "I'm so used to spending time in abandoned underground kindergartens that I forgot what it's like to be surrounded by regular dirt, starlight, and life. Earth is a nice change of routine."

Cross-gem fusions: "Cross-fusions are truly exciting! You never know what to expect from them. Not to mention they're easily misled by elbaite disguises. OH, there was this one fusion between a rutile and a morganite I helped to capture. The morganite was so comforting and bubbly!! Well, at least before I paid her a friendly visit in the prison. She called me many nasty words there... Ouch"

Disguise missions: "Oh I love disguise missions, specifically those in kindergartens! I find chatting with targets quite amusing, plus I rarely have any issues fitting in. But it's always the grant finally I tend to mess up. N-Not the killing, of course, haha!! You see, I always try to prepare a cool final sentence that will summarize our lovely time together before betraying them. But more often than not I end up saying something reeeeeally stupid, AGH!"

Elbaites: "FINALLY! Finally I can get to know others of my variety!! I'm so thankful to know my war teammates! Exceeeeeept Thorn... I wouldn't mind not knowing her..."

Nickname: "With each year the other elbaites and I spend together on this colony, calling each other by codes grew on awkwardness. So, I proposed the idea of using simple nicknames! Originally, everyone wanted to be some variation of Watermelon Tourmaline, but I managed to change their mind. As for me, 'Dot' was an obvious choice! It's short, cute, and descriptive of my appearance."

Talking: "Oh yeah, as you can probably tell, I'm quite talkative. It's challenging to find gems to chat with outside of work. Hopefully, I'm not too much to handle for ya, hehe."
