Clothing Style

Amradelta is most commonly depicted wearing a silver and white tunic and matching knee-high boots. She also wears long gloves, leggings, earrings, a circlet, and sometimes a shawl or cloak.

During her life, she frequently wore this default outfit while doing her work in service of Lord Dalia, and her casual outfits tend to have a similar vibe and composition, although they are usually simpler in design.

Personality

Amradelta is remembered as a bold and stalwart healer and protector of the Eternity in the early ages of its creation. Most people know her as a historical figure who was kind, nurturing, and selfless. During the majority of her life, she was indeed this kind and selfless healer, but in the time of her greatest works in defending the Eternity from the first forces of malice, Amradelta was a young and prideful woman who held herself above those she honored with her services. She had a rather elitist and cold demeanor and tended to do her work out of obligation and pride rather than selfless generosity, but she certainly mellowed out with age and became much more grounded and humble following the conclusion of the First War. Amradelta always held herself to high standards and was a strict perfectionist, and although she was often too serious and no-nonsense most of the time, she softened up around her husband, Nanikai.

Abilities

  • Lyfe rifting - lesser deity rank
  • Lyte rifting - lesser deity rank
  • Deyth rifting - lesser deity rank
  • Flight by levitation
  • Aside from magical healing, she was also skilled in regular first aid

Strengths

  • Confident, bold, and fearless
  • Focused, resilient, and persistent
  • Agile, graceful, and meticulous
  • Thorough with her tasks, observant, and resourceful

Weaknesses

  • Prideful, condescending, and rather elitist (although she mellowed out of these habits with age)
  • Overly-serious, humorless, and no-nonsense
  • Frequently blunt/harsh with her words, especially with her brutal honesty
  • Held herself above menial tasks and refused to do anything beneath her or anything dirty or undignified

Backstory

Lady Amradelta was created by Lord Dalia as the first Anadican after crafting the world of Anadika. He granted her powerful rifting to utilize both life and death, and Amradelta trained herself to be a unmatched force to maintain the Eternity and guard it from threats. She gained a reputation as a powerful healer and protector, although she primarily did so out of pride and personal obligation rather than selflessness toward others.

One day, she was called to heal a suffering young man named Nanikai Emtratika, and she wouldn't learn until much later that he became infatuated by her at the time. She thought nothing of him though and considered healing him as just another task for her to complete. She would later encounter Nanikai out in the Eternity numerous times as he trained himself in his newfound health, but he would only catch her attention after an incident in which a void-plagued Ela attempted to breach Dalia's Court. Nanikai risked his life to save Amradelta from this creature, and she hastily healed his would-be fatal injuries in return. The two then started an uncertain friendship that grew into romance over the years, and they eventually married.

Amradelta and Nanikai worked together along with the rest of Dalia's followers through the First War, and the couple lived on to see many generations of their descendants carry on. Unfortunately, Nanikai's condition plaguing him since his birth would eventually catch up with him, and none of Amradelta's healing could save him when his life force finally burned out and he unexpectedly collapsed into her arms during a ceremony. Nanikai died shortly after, and Amradelta was never the same. Few truly know what became of her, but she gradually disappeared from the public eye and passed quietly many years later. Her peers noted she carried on her duty as a healer and protector of the Eternity long after she had lost the desire to carry on, and it was a great relief to her and to her loved ones when she finally passed to rejoin Nanikai in the Last Lands.

Trivia:

  • Her favorite color is white.
  • Accumulated a rather large collection of tokens of gratitude from various people she’s healed or fans of her. She’s mildly indifferent about it, but she doesn’t typically throw away anything unless it spoils.
  • Sworn enemies with Vinia Demrile because she killed her sister. Vinia also apparently based her humanoid appearance on Amradelta’s sister as well, as some sick reminder of losing her to Vinia’s magic.
  • Utmost respect for Lord Dalia, but sometimes thinks he can be a little too careless or silly.
  • Before Nanikai, Amradelta never considered anyone good enough for her to be in a relationship. Obviously he got her to open up a bit more as they got to know each other, and she mellowed out on her prideful and elitist mindset.
  • Inspired by her descendant, Idramae, who I created long before her.
  • Most people imagine her as this kind but firm holy woman, but she was a very harsh and mildly aggressive holy woman who happened to be a strong healer. She usually wouldn't resort to killing, but sometimes that was even worse considering the kind of things her more destructive powers could do.
  • Nanikai would find it amusing how pure and holy Amradelta’s image in history is, as if she was some flawless, selfless, and immaculate being of purity. He certainly knew her when she was much more flawed that she would like to admit, but he loves her with all her imperfections.
    • He also would find it silly that she is characterized as level headed, patient, forgiving, and demure. He would describe her level-headedness as often cold, her patience not nearly as vast as most people think, her ability to hold grudges frightening, and nothing about her “demure” by any stretch of the imagination. But of course, he would say so as if those were endearing traits.
