Clothing Style

Cake is frequently seen wearing dresses or tops with skirts, but she never really looks overly delicate or frilly in any of her outfits. She prefers earthy colors in her casual wear, usually opting for less vibrant colors. She also likes clothing that is rather practical and easy to move in, especially for outdoor activities since she enjoys being outside and active in her free time. She particularly likes colors like goldenrod, green, brown, tan, and beige. She also likes wearing hiking boots in casual situations and isn't fond of less protective footwear like sandals, heels, or flats. She tends to accessories minimally and doesn't seem that fond of metal jewelry.

When working, she wears a variation of the Zilvian agent uniform that consists of a black top and skirt with silver accents along with boots, shoulder adornments, and a wrist communicator (which also functions as a weapon and various tools, and she usually wears even off the job). She is more often seen wearing the warm-weather/field work version that has shorter sleeves.

Personality

Cake comes off as a rather serious and by-the-book woman on a glance, yet she has a heart full of compassion and loyalty. She takes her work with Zilvian very seriously and can seem rather tense and high strung. She's always been a high performing student in her academy and graduated as the top student of her class, so she takes pride in how she performs in the field and doesn't compromise her values. She usually comes off as stubborn and set in her ways because of this, and she can have a little trouble relaxing sometimes since she's basically a workaholic. Cake has a brilliant and calculating mind that can easily plan, coordinate, and analyze situations, and she is very flexible and adapts well to changing or hectic conditions.

When off duty, she can still be rather stiff and professional, but she can loosen up quite a bit around the right kind of people. More recently she's been spending more time with Erik, both because she was assigned to keep an eye on him since he first encountered Shana's forces and also because she's grown fond of him. Although Erik is also a responsible and practical person, he also has a lot of energy and optimism that he's been using to try and get her to kick back more often. She particularly enjoys going with him on hikes or bike rides during her off time, since she likes being active and outdoors. She can be a little too overprotective of him at times, but she's learning to be less of a stick in the mud.

Backstory

Cake was born in a small rifter community in Washington, and she was quickly slated to attend the Zilvian academy posted nearby since her parents were already both Zilvian agents. She had a relatively one-track life attending the academy and training to be a Zilvian cadet, and she always excelled in her courses and was in the top percentage of her classes. By the time she was ready to join cadet training as a young teenager, she was at the very top of her class. She faced quite a bit of hardship directed at her by some of her "competitive" peers in the last few years of her cadet training, yet she didn't let it get in her way of achieving her goals.

During her middle-years as a cadet, she was assigned to monitor Erik Dalian, who had recently been captured by Shanan agents and subsequently rescued by other Zilvian agents. She along with other Zilvian forces, both cadets and official agents, were to keep an eye on him and provide him protection due to his importance involving his connection to Lord Dalia. Cake ended up spending the most direct time with Erik while evaluating his wellness, mostly because she was the closest in age to him, and she usually was the one to provide him help or support when he was having trouble adjusting to this sudden change in his lifestyle. Although a little too serious about keeping his safe, Cake gradually grew to know and like Erik on a personal level as well.

While attempting to make a move to reunite Erik with his father whom he had been taken from, the Zilvian agents protecting him were attacked by the Deyth Element, Nyfringe Nyre. Although his presence there is still rather unexplained, he managed to incapacitate or kill all the agents and attack Erik. Although he escaped with his life, his soul was tainted with Nyfringe Nyre's power, and although he feels no effects from it now, it could prove to be dangerous for him later should the Deyth Element find any use for him. Following this event, the Zilvian agents determined it was too dangerous to leave Erik and his father unmonitored until the remaining Shanan threats were accounted for and placed in custody. Erik was able to continue his schooling while stuck in California along with taking classes at a hidden Zilvian academy to learn more about his own rifting and train it. Cake was the only cadet who stepped away from the encounter alive and without any severe injuries, so she continued to monitor him closely due to her previously established familiarity with him.

After Erik graduated from high school, the last of the Shanan agents Zilvian had been hunting for had been rounded up and it was determined safe for him and his father to leave. Cake had also graduated from cadet training at about the same time, and her first assignment as an agent was to continue monitoring the Dalian family's safety, so shortly after he and his father moved to a rifter community in Nebraska to reunite with the rest of their family, Cake followed suit and settled into the rifter community as well. She is, according to her assignment, meant to be somewhat of Erik's bodyguard at this point, yet more recently she's been warming up to the notion of being his girlfriend as well.
