Clothing Style

Kadita tends to dress appropriately for her station as princess, and the Arakaivian style of clothing tends to lean as vaguely medieval with more fantasy influence. The primary color scheme of the Arakaivian kingdom is light blue and silver, and most of Kadita’s formal outfits follow this color scheme. She is usually seen either wearing ornate light blue dresses with silver accents around the palace, or she will wear similarly styled but simpler dresses for more casual events such as horseback riding or doing things outdoors. For formal events she will wear a silver diadem with light blue gemstones, but otherwise she usually wears a plain silver tiara instead.

Personality

Kadita is the young princess of Arakaivia, and she acts in a polite and proper manner to present herself well toward others. She is usually quiet around other people in public settings, and she usually doesn't speak unless spoken to. She tends to focus on being perceived as a proper royal, so she tends to act more subdued than she actually is. Kadita actually is much more energetic and eager than she seems, and she is always willing to learn and act accordingly in order to do what is right. She has some hangups about being seen as too impulsive or assertive, since unfortunately her family seems to value “passive and demure behavior” from their women, but in private she can be more expressive and enthusiastic about acting. Kadita is a little naive since she lacks a lot of real world experience and often isn’t able to try things and fail in order to learn, but she certainly is willing to try when no one is around to dissuade her.

• Somewhat gullible and tends to take people at their word, mostly because she’s very sheltered and isn’t exposed to a lot of dishonest people in general
• Passive around other authority figures or her higher-up vassals, and she often can’t stand up for herself if she would rather do something else or if her opinion differs from theirs

Backstory

Kadita is the young princess of Arakaivia and was raised to be a well behaved and proper royal. She is known to be a lovely and eloquent girl by those who observe her, although she would like to be more active and outspoken regarding what she can do for her kingdom. However, her older brother, the crown prince Kavian, is expected to do such things, and her parents insist she simply behave well and present herself in a positive manner. Kadita isn’t satisfied merely being a figure and a pretty face for the royal family, but there isn’t much she can currently do.

In recent times though, Kavian was seemingly killed in a battle against invading Skydric clans from Airisina. His supposed death is somewhat of a mystery, for his body was seemingly reanimated by an unknown force during the procession to his funeral, and he fled and has not been seen since. Kadita is torn between mourning the loss and now disappearance of her brother and her parents suddenly pushing her to “take Kavian’s place” as the next heir. Her new role as crown princess hardly matters to her, and she simply wants answers regarding her brother’s fate.
