Physical Appearance

• Waist-length blonde hair

Can alternatively appear as a gray cat when used as a persona. This cat can be feral or anthro with blonde hair optional. Feral cat form at minimum must have a metal band around one paw that has a lightning bolt engraved on it. Anthro cat can be anywhere from child to teenager in age. However, when used in the context of her story only her kemonomimi form described first is applicable.

Clothing Style

During her main story, Katako tends to wear a plain purple dress most often. It was badly damaged in the attack on Feelina, but she doesn't seem to care how tattered it has gotten. She always wears a somewhat large, black pendent in the shape of a bird, which represents the Rain Hawks, although it wasn't black when she first got it. She dislikes wearing shoes or anything on her feet in general. She doesn't care about her clothing much at all and couldn't care less if it looks tattered or unappealing in any way.

When outside her main story in a more persona-ish role, she tends to wear simple, dark colored, cute outfits. These usually consist of a simple dress or top and skirt, and she also likes wears simple dark colored hats as well. She only tends to stick around black and white for colors with a touch of purple.

As a cat, she'll wear a pink bow either around her neck or tail, or both.

In all forms, she's likely to wear a gold armband with a lightning bolt engraved on it.

Personality

Katako is a quiet and rather serious girl with a previous lifetime of experience to guide her through her second life. She comes off as rather solemn and seemingly emotionless at times, and she typically doesn't display much emotion through her facial expressions. She can unintentionally look at people with a rather wide-eyed and blank stare while conversing with them, and she tends to be very disciplined and intentional with her movements and body language. This often translates as her being eerily still until she decides to take action. Despite her current appearance as a young teen, she acts and speaks maturely since she is nearing a hundred years in age total between her previous and current life. Because of this, she is very bold and uninhibited in taking action and speaking her mind, for she has had plenty of time to build her confidence and has no sign of turmoil or confusion in this typical "coming of age" time. Katako finds it difficult to find people to relate to since she doesn't look the age of the people she would share similar life experiences with, so she tends to seek out other people who are long-lived to empathize with.

Although she is usually serious and no-nonsense, Katako does occasionally have a tendency toward mischief. She likes to take risks and new paths that she has not taken before, so new opportunities and experiences can frequently lead her to making more unusual choices for the sake of learning or excitement. She can also be subtly sarcastic and teasing of those close to her, and she is much more clever and witty than her often-deadpan demeanor may suggest. Katako requires others to earn her trust first, and she is hesitant to take that first step instead. However, once trust is earned, she is selfless in looking after those she cares about. She will often take a "tough love" stance with those who are too wishy-washy or hesitant to make decisions, but ultimately she is a steady ally and friend who clearly knows what it means to value lasting relationships. Katako is generally easy to get along with and pleasant to be around, but she will not be pushed around by anyone and is very firm with her boundaries. She has a notable fierceness to her demeanor that is not outwardly aggressive, and she is often described as fearless and intense.

Backstory

The daughter of Feelina's leader, Katako gained much insight and knowledge from her wise mother before her untimely death. Her mother's death was very unusual since she was not reborn afterward, which is an inherent trait of Medru Feelas. Katako mourned for her mother, although she kept much of her grief to herself to stay strong for her distraught brother, Kotaka. 

After a sudden attack on their homeworld, she finds herself, her brother, and a handful of Rain Hawks to be the only survivors of the destruction of their planet. Her brother leaves her without warning after a time of mourning, and Katako ventures away from their dead planet to escape the painful memories, meeting a strange mix of travelers on Lailic.
