[AU] For someone that wants to convince people to fight themselves into oblivion, Drakenburg is a great start! It was there he ran into Nate and practically forced the poor fisherman to be his guide. He's noticed, though, that Nate has some peculiar powers. In fact, some people in this land do. That just might make this trip all the more interesting...
[TH AU] Ark was everything Nathaniel hated. Rich, powerful and in charge.. And yet!!... The big man crossed his arms whenever he thought of Ark. It wasn't like he liked him or something.
[TH AU] *pockets his jewelry pockets his jewelry* , stealing aside-
En is one of the few people who can stomach Roswell's endless fountain of words and he appropriates that! A lot! He'd defend the Loser's king's name with his kram if he has too.
[AU] Who would have thought that a man that nearly talked his ear off while he was dying would end up becoming such a good friend? Many people have warned the king about Roswell-- even his own daughter! But he's adamant that Roswell's not as bad as they say. He's got his soft spots, and he's smart and has great taste! No matter what, En considers him a great friend. Maybe even... best friend?!
[TH AU]: Salvador always had a hard time accepting who he was and his curse. Lan understand him the most and for the first time in a long time, Salvador finally felt save and heard.
[AU] The people of Drakenburg are all unique in their own ways, but Lan finds himself watching Salvador most often. A life filled with both tragedy and splendor, filled to the brim with emotions well hidden. He is truly the embodiment of life in Darkness's eyes. And, in an odd way, Lan feels extra fatherly around young Salvador. Perhaps because he knows what's to come...
[TH AU]: Even though Roswell has a small raisin sized heart, that doesn't mean he doesn't look out for his fellow thieves.....One thief in particular. Void, he even gave him a lucky trinket. Is he finally getting old and sentimental? who knows..Some honor among thieves after all it seems.
[AU] A fellow thief? An OLDER thief? Cupid himself must be following Jackson around, because he's sure he's found The One. Every chance he gets he'll try to be around Roswell, even taking his kids(?) under his wing as his own.
[TH AU]: Xander never gave up on En. He even feels guilty that he couldn't protect him from the unavoidable. En's determination made Xander always proud and it still does
[AU] Xander was one of the many, many, MANY music teachers En had, and was the last one, too. Compared to all the others, he was the kindest and most understanding, never judging En for his poor skills or making him feel bad about it. Even when his life fell apart after the siren ceremony, En still regarded Xander highly.
Honestly, Taka barely recognizes the grunts in his underworld empire, let alone the staff at his restaurants. There's one where he notices a kid with a pretty sour face. Ain't really what you'd expect for a five star restaurant's staff, but, well, Taka's not the kind of boss people expect either.
Trip is a determined hard-working guy, so even if he looks out of place he's sure to make himself worth watching. He doesn't exactly see his boss a lot, but he gets the oddest vibes from him- surely he can't be that bad of a guy right?
Lachlan has a pretty interesting energy to him, and he doesn't really play by the books either. Cameron's interested in him, though if he starts prying too much they might have a little problem.
The one he's most interested in- for any list of reasons. He plans to be in-hand with Cameron and help him out, with some thinly veiled threats that he'll not hesitate to throw him in prison if he loses interest. A nice song-and-dance for the two, one could say.
It's clear that Lachlan is here with ulterior motives. Whether it's to try and usurp some ranks or steal documents, Frederick's not sure, but as long as he stays out of his way it's fine.
Frederick surely wouldn't be happy knowing that Lachlan's goal is more twisted- but he's good at keeping his tracks covered. So let's hope he won't be too much of an issue, yeah?
Go ahead and send any investigator or cop you've got, no one will ever be able to catch the Master Thief!
The more annoying the thief is, the more he wants to knock them down a peg...
One thing that really irks Cecil is a criminal, so when Junia is racing down the road, breaking countless laws, he gets livid! He's always trying to catch her, but she's too fast! He'll get her one of these days...!!
The fact a cop goes after her and tries hard to make her face her dues is one of the reasons she WON'T ever stop. She finds the chases amusing, and if they ever met up normally she'd probably treat him like a good friend.
He first met Kaplan when Mr. TV wanted to do a small documentary on surgery robots, but Security found some form of kinship with a fellow robot... machine... thing. It's rare, but sometimes Security will visit him. Neither are very talkative, but he's been known to pat the surgeon on the head time to time.
Kaplan was happy to partake in the documentary but had a specific fascination with the man Security. How was a security camera able to get around? How was he functioning? His questions never have gotten answered, but in return, he's gained a passing friend. Something far better than just some answers.
When Slade started working at the same cafe as Ace, he took him under his wing and tried to get him to be more social, and to emote more! Slade's a good guy, just scary-looking, and there seems to be some kind of wall built around his heart, so the cupid wants to do everything he can to help him fall in love again, even if it goes against his job!
Slade hadn't quite been sure what to think when Ace had started talking to him, he was a coworker and not a horrible person. But, he was odd. Whenever Slade was around Ace would push him to get orders for people who are interested in him. He doesn't always catch this, but the times he does, he understands his coworker doesn't know his past. Despite all of that, he does enjoy the man's company.
There's no doubt in her mind that Fate played a role in their meeting. Benny had a bad boy energy to him and was her complete opposite, but she just couldn't stay away! The longer they spent time together, the more she learned about him, some of it scary, and some of it showed her that he wasn't as bad as he claimed to be.
It all started out with sitting on a bench. He'd believed their first meeting would have been the last, but the two constantly ran into each other like fate. After learning she had siren blood running in her veins, Benny grew curious and wanted nothing more than draining her dry of blood. Little did he know his motives would change...
While his daughter is infatuated, En knows that Benny isn't as sweet and caring as he's convinced her. He wants to put a stop to their relationship before Ennette gets her heart broken.
Despite seeing him as an obstacle, Benny cannot help but tease and annoy the living hell out of the king. Just like his daughter, seeing reactions from En keeps him entertained. Perhaps it runs in the family.
[AU - Lover] Never had Ark fathomed the idea of being in love. It was, after all, nothing more than a bothersome emotion so many people were desperate to grab. But when he met Izumi and his little daughter, Sachiko... something in him changed. Maybe it was because it was a life he longed for, but he found himself attached to the small family.
[AU - Lover] Izumi wasn't expecting to find love when he found an unconscious man in his neighborhood with a seeming anger management issue. As fate would have it however they kept bumping into each other. Soon Izumi couldn't deny his own feelings nor the feelings of his daughter Sachiko who was attached to Ark in a way she had only clung to Izumi prior. It was like Izumi had found the missing piece of the puzzle and the family of two became a family of three.
[Lovers] After her first love disappeared, Ennette had lost the motivation to sing or play. She thought it'd be a permanent change until she heard a beautiful voice. To this day, she still can't believe her faithful butler had been one of the music gods in disguise. He was patient and understanding, helping her out of her sadness and eventually helping her to fall in love all over again.
[Related] En loves his daughter with every ounce of his being. She looks just like her mother, and really picked up on his attitude! He knows she's strong and capable of protecting herself, but still can't help but worry that she might bite off more than she can chew one of these days.
[Related] Ennette considers her father her hero. There are so many stories about him, like how he had everything taken away but managed to still come out on top. He's the coolest! She wants to be just like him and to bring honor to their small family.
They work together, both being prosecutors, and they get along great. They've known each other since law school and have been close ever since. Ty loves Lock's energy, and he's a fun as hell drinking partner. But ever since Lock settled down with someone Ty couldn't help but realize how old and alone he himself was...
Lock and Ty are not only coworkers but close friends! In fact, they've been friends since law school! He loves Ty's energy, and his passion for justice always fires him up too!
Eros was genuinely happy to see another cupid spreading love just like himself, but started noticing some of his customers missing. The man is kind, but the way he tries breaking up Eros' couples and even daring to lure his beloved customers make him freeze up and stare in frustration. Perhaps Eros should work on his appeal more...and maybe bring back his customers and even steal some of Ace's as well.
[Rivals?] One of the cafes Ace works at - as well as the one he spends most of his time at - is just across the street from Eros's. Working from across not just a cupid but THE cupid! Who knew! Maybe it's because of his status that Ace gets a thrill from breaking up Eros's couples, or at least stealing away his customers.
They're not necessarily rivals, though Valentine HATES when Ace finds faults with his perfumes and colognes. These were made - AND PERFECTED - after centuries of family recipes being passed down. They're undoubtedly far superior to the old love arrows, and have a much better chance at finding one's true love! Yet Ace is always trying to break up couples, what a horrible cupid!
They're not exactly rivals, though most of Ace's job is all about debunking the power of Valentine's perfumes and colognes. He himself is a little pessimistic about the idea of love forged through a love potion, so he pushes himself a little more when it comes to jobs revolved around Valentine.
Mr. TV never really cared about Security, but more WHERE he worked: Jet's casino. If he could thin out the ranks then surely that would help him to take his powers! Besides, he'd been needing some security lately, so this was perfect! But Security is... kinda clingy.
Security harbors no ill will for being tricked. In fact, it's entirely possible he doesn't remember being tricked. But he does know one thing: his life is dedicated to Mr. TV. Whatever he does, whatever he thinks, Security's there to make sure it all goes smoothly. He'll ALWAYS be there. Just as his job entails.
Probably the only man she would allow to touch her. The two went after the same thing due to an idiot of an intelligence broker. She mainly puts up with this shit because he's one of the only few who was able to make her laugh and trust her, not many men make her laugh with glee. She still panics when he touches her but once she realizes who it is, she slaps his hand, scolds him and leans into his touch.
[Lovers] They met when they went after the same treasure. From there on they'd often chase after the same treasures, fighting at first and ending with... well, some happy endings. Vittoria is cruel, cold, and scolds him when she gets the chance, and Yeeharr wouldn't have it any other way.
[Lovers] When the incident happened Zack was convinced he would never fall in love again. He was quiet and cold, even despite all the times Allora visited the store. But the more he saw her, the more he warmed up to her until he felt love again. Around her, he feels like all the pain and grief weighing over his shoulders can finally lift.
[Lovers] When she first visited Zack's store, she fell for him as soon as she laid eyes on him. Despite the cold demeanor, Allora found it quite charming and began to swoon after finding out about his love for cute little animals. She really wants to get Zack to open up and share blissful memories together.
Mori seemed like one of those people who took great interest in historical fashion, specifically the Victorian era. She sees him as a unique and kind individual but feels something off about him as well. Although she appears normal on the outside, Allora feels intimidated by his presence.
Mori wanted revenge against Zack for daring to stop him from reaping a soul, even well after he'd stopped him. So when he learned of the vampire's feelings for Allora, he decided to try and intervene.
Originally he wanted to reap her, but as he spoke with her more to lower her defenses, he found his own defenses lowering. He couldn't believe it, but he'd fallen in love, and now only wanted her for himself.
NV was never meant to contain Envy's spirit, and of course the only one with the authority to stop that is... him. Every time Gustav even THINKS about approaching that... that THING he can't stop shaking!
Gustav is something Envy is always telling them to avoid. He wants to split them apart, and NV can't let that happen. Who else would tolerate them?
