[Related] Never had Jet thought he'd have a family, he always thought that would be too much of a distraction from his job. Then he held newborn Penny in his arms and completely changed. He gave up his Sin just to admit how much he loved his daughter and was more than willing to give up his life as a result, but Fate had other plans.
Penny is the only one Jet wouldn't think twice about spending money on.
[Related] Penny adores her papa. He makes her life the best that it possibly can be. When he gave up his Sin just to tell her he loved her out loud at her request...she never felt more guilt and regret than in that moment.
Honestly... Nicolas... he can't stand when Penny commissions him. He only knows her from her Vtuber persona, but the requests she has... unfathomable... and yet... she pays so much and always tips...
"This looks sooooo good! Juuust a couple changes though, please? Thaaaaaanks~♡" *gives list of 50 edits to do*
[Related] Alcott is Penny's uncle. The minute he heard his brother had a kid he didn't believe it one bit. That greedy bastard? What, was he planning on ditching the mom and scooping in child support now? He doesn't trust any of this one bit, and he's not going out of his way to meet that train wreck of a family.
[Related] Penny only knows vaguely of her uncle, never actually meeting him. She can't exactly blame him for not wanting anything to do with her papa, given the circumstances, but she has mixed feelings given that her papa has never been anything other than loving to her and mama. For now, she doesn't particularly want to meet him.
It's clear that Fujin isn't human-- in fact, that guy is dangerously powerful. But with the amount of times Adrien has had to stop him from staring at the sun, he's found the guy to be a complete knucklehead more than a threat! More so, Fujin follows him around like some kind of lost duckling!
Adrien was the first human to give Fujin a gift. Something with no motives behind them, nor for worship. That explains why Fujin became somewhat attached to the hunter, following him around whenever he gets the chance. Perhaps he'll even give Adrien a ride on his little cloud one day!
[Related] Heinrich is very proud that his daughter chose to be a maid for the royal family. She's learned a lot from him and has done a superb job at handling the royal family's needs, though there's still more she could learn before he's ready to call her a head maid.
[Related] Catja looks up to her father as the ideal butler, what everyone should strive for! Especially now, working for the royal family of Anthea herself, she always seems to be eagerly seeking his approval in her maid duties.
When Roy was new to his kingdom he encountered a small octopus-like creature that was treated harshly by the sirens. Being half-human and new to this land, he understood what it was like to be an outcast and helped the creature out. He didn't expect, however, for Kraken to turn out like he did. Still, he's happy for the little guy (and he'll definitely still call him "little guy") and is happy he's found his way in life.
En remembers little-to-nothing about encountering the legendary Kraken. He remembered being on a ship and drinking a LOT with the crew... something about hitting Conqueror in the face with a cannonball... but he'd definitely remember someone as huge as Kraken? Not to mention the fact that he's this huge, scary legend tossed around in the country!
Ennette has only met the Kraken a few times, mostly when she was a toddler. Although her kingdom passes along the story of how frightening he is, she always remembers him from her tea parties from when she was a child.
When Scott met Adrien, it felt as if he was staring into a mirror. The serious look in his eyes when hunting. The cold ambition to pursue the blood-sucking monsters with the strong desire to make them regret ever being born. They both lost someone they loved with all their heart, though, Scott believes Adrien's daughter is alive and well. He keeps praying to God that she hadn't grown to become a vicious vampire. Along with his daily routine in tracking down vampires and other monsters, he tries to look for clues that could possibly lead to Adrien's daughter.
Scott was introduced to him by Chad. The look in that kid's eyes, he knew full well he went through a similar tragedy, and they bonded almost instantly. Adrien is more prone to sharing his research with Scott than with Chad, and trains him more, knowing this guy will become a real threat to all vampires someday. In a sense, he treats him like his own kid.
He's got no idea who this is or why this bird is talking, or even why she keeps claiming he's her husband, but hey, sure, he'll play along, whatever.
"I warned you-- I WARNED you not to do this and now look what happens!"
When Adrien learned that Zack was a vampire, kid or not, he wanted him gone. It took a LOT of convincing from Chad to get him to tolerate him, but he didn't trust him.
Over time, as Zack got older, Adrien reluctantly agreed that he was a good kid that didn't harm humans. It got him to change his perspective on other monsters.
Then Zack got engaged and toyed with the idea of turning his fiance into a vampire. Adrien was vehemently against it and only cursed himself for not being harder on the kid when the catastrophe came.
Being raised by a group of vampire hunters, Zack was well aware he was under constant surveillance, especially with Adrien. He didn't mind, and was glad to convince everyone that he wasn't harmful.
He only wishes, though, he had listened to Adrien when he warned him about his fiance...
Adrien met Chad when he was still in college. Poor kid went through hell, but his drive to help people against monsters was pretty damn admirable, so he agreed to help teach him how to be a proper hunter. Chad can be weird as hell sometimes, but he considers him almost like a son at this point.
After the events at his college, Chad had decided he wanted to protect people from monsters, but he had no clue how to do it. Thankfully, he met Adrien and begged him to teach him. Adrien agreed and Chad became a trained vampire hunter. He looks up to the guy and considers him a mentor, though has to periodically teach him about smartphones.
Haha...Hey...Hi..Haha... [cold sweat] [still smiling] Um.......Here's the.. um.. Commercial bleach and hydrogen peroxide you asked for......hehe.. um.. and the 1500 piece Smile Face sticker pack....... haha..... so.. about our consultation.......i'm thinking rain check...
Sensei prides himself on teaching Nini karate. When she first walked in she was very soft-spoken and timid, and now she has the strength to break through cement bricks! He also taught her the ways of anime, and in some ways considers her not just a student but as a child of his very own.
Nini looks up to Sensei almost as much as she looks up to her father (please don't tell Father that). He's trained her to be so, so much stronger than she was before, and encouraged her interests without ever seeing it as childish or weird. One of the highlights of her week are her karate lessons at the dojo.
[Related] Siblings sharing Lust as a parent. Nicolás... well, to be honest, he never really cared about having another sibling. When he met Nini, however, he thought she was really cool! Plus, having someone that understood succubus/incubus issues that ALSO loved anime? She wasn't just his half-sister, she was his best friend! He loves chatting with her and helps her out with their demon sides, but he's really worried about the cult she keeps telling him is good.
[Related] Nini was nervous to meet her older brother when she first found him through that anime stream, unsure of what to expect when she did. What she found was a genuinely interesting person who enjoyed her same interests and made her feel...comfortable for the first time. Would it be odd to say he's her first friend along with being her brother? She's sure that once she brings him back to Father her family will be whole and happy.
[Related] Whether they're related by blood is a mystery, and one Kul won't ever tell. All that matters to him is that Nini is another product of his powers and that's enough to label her his daughter. Having a connection this strong to the Sins and thus the Darkness is great, though he feels his definite, totally his son would have been a much stronger connection. Oh well. At least he has someone to eat beans with.
[Related] Though the exact technicalities of the ritual leading to her birth are hazy, Nini has always seen Kul as her one and only father. She loves and respects him greatly, even though she knows that she has failed to live up to his expectations the way he wanted. She would do anything for his approval.
Kohaku doesn't question why Sensei is a cat humanoid. He only cares about the fact that Sensei also enjoys anime and his opinions on the waifus. While Kohaku finds Sensei relatable, sometimes he can't help but disagree with Princess Peach being the ultimate. Clearly, its Rosalina.
Sensei appreciates Kohaku accepting for him as he is, and enjoys sparring and training with him frequently. When they take breaks from these spars, they both tend to talk about anime and the wonderful ladies involved in them, however they often end in polite disagreements, especially when Princess Peach is involved.
Well. Father Priest loves all cats and that... that includes this... one... He isn't sure what on earth happened, but the cat seems diligent and respectful, so that's... good... He stops by occasionally to make sure Sensei is okay.
The priest helped Sensei adapt to his new life, and to this day he is very grateful to him.
He has no idea about this man's existence.
Hopper's family knew magic that could turn people into animals, and animals into people! He thought it was about time he tried it himself, and experimented with a cat he saw when he was visiting a foreign country. Unfortunately, something went wrong and the cat turned very strong-looking, and scared Hopper to the point of him running away. He is too terrified to rectify this mistake.
Nikolai had no idea that the man at the lemonade stand he was teasing mercilessly just so happened to be one of the first reapers. Vy's certainly cuter than he thought, in more ways than one! Their fun played its course, but to this day Nikki still likes to stop by and flirt with him for some free lemonade.
After a little under a century of being around Vy had met Nikolai. Naturally, that meant they became intimate. Even with all of Nikki's wrongdoings, Vy isn't upset. He's glad to have experienced some new things that are common with mortal humans, and he still has a soft spot for the Sin, though he definitely understands why everyone he spoke to described him as dangerous.
[Rivals] Jackson isn't sure if Ad's aware that he's dating Teddy, but you know what? He doesn't care anymore! That... That TWERP is always trying to be around Teddy and kiss his ass! Only one person gets to kiss his ass and that's HIM.
[Rivals] Addy feels like he deserves to be an Agent, and to do that he needs to suck up to the boss of agents: The Commandant. Only problem is that someone's beat him to it! Jackson is ALWAYS there hovering around the boss! What the hell!
It makes sense for human resources to want to keep an eye on Jackson and question him plenty of times since he broke the laws of physics with his age and being mind controlled, and typically he'd enjoy this situation. A beautiful, wonderful beauty visiting him often to talk? It was almost like a dream come true!
Almost.
She's... Holly honestly freaks Jackson out a bit. There's just... something WILD in her eyes when she badgers him about how he was mind controlled.
An agent who by all means has broken all known natural laws and hasn't aged a day past his twenties in over 30 years? How could Holly NOT want to run experiments on him; what kind of good scientist would she be if she just left that alone? Even when she asks sweetly for him to allow her to run some tests, Rivers always seems so jittery when she's around. Wonder why that is?
Ryan is a good cop, Cecil admits that, but the guy can be such an airhead sometimes! He's always running around trying to high-five people! And the worst part is that even if it's not said, the chief knows-- he KNOWS-- that Ryan sees him as a child!
Ryan respects Cecil, he really does! It's just that...It's so hard to take him seriously with that cute little baby face of his. It makes Ryan wanna give him piggyback rides or something. He's gotten a lot better at resisting though, mainly because he doesn't wanna raise the possible chance of getting fired.
[AU] Once she met the paladin from the other kingdom, Ennette was smitten. Through fate (and a little tailing on her part), the princess was able to get closer with Illanya. She loves spending her time with her, and can't help but be smitten at the paladin's strength both physically and emotionally.
(TH AU) Illanya wasn’t expecting to get too close to Litari’s royalty. She’s a stranger after all. But after all that’s happened, she’s found herself increasingly charmed by Ennette and her joyful personality. Although she worries about the implications of their different stations from time to time.
[Love Interest] At first Heinrich was annoyed to death by this FILTHY guest and her blatant lack of etiquette. Yet somehow her persistence in talking to him gained his attention, and what started with humoring her gibberish ended with authentic care.
It was love at first sight for Chickie. She was enamored the first time she met her Handsome Butler Love. Though their meeting was odd to say the least, they really bonded over the terrible-ness of their "true loves". If you ask Chickie, she only has one true love, and it's Heinny!
