[Employer] Lan offered Ray a chance to house Pride years ago. Compared to the other hosts, he has had the shortest time with his Sin. Pride is no pushover, either. Lan is well aware of how manipulative Pride can be, just as he is aware of the Sin's feelings towards his management. He worries little about both.
[Employee] Ray doesn't think much about Lan. Pride, however, feels like he should be the head honcho of the Sins and constantly wants Ray to help him plan to overthrow him.
Oh wow. It's not everyday that someone recognizes his works instead of, well, almost ending the world. It reminds him of his life before everything happened, it's nice.
Dan does not care about this man's political position, whether evil or good. What he DOES care about is that he wrote several catchy jingles for some of his favorite toothpastes. This man is his hero.

Isolde knew she should leave En alone, yet she couldn’t help but tail the ex-princeling out of… not affection nor concern, no; she wants none of the dark path that he had chosen to walk, at least that’s what she tells herself. Rather, her attempts to help En is less about him but more so to redeem herself - she failed him as a teacher once, then broke her promise to Allegro that she’ll guide the princeling even after the latter’s death. The least she could do now is to become the teacher that En needed from the very beginning, but it was already too late by the time she reached that realisation. The sweet little penguin she once taught is no more, the maiden forever haunted by memories of his death and her own guilt for not doing enough.
[Assassin] What convenient timing that Earle found the crown prince when he was busy. Killing him was almost too easy. Now all Litari needed was a push here and there and civil war would erupt. They'd need a leader to unite them. Who better than himself?
[Victim] Earle had magic incredible enough to mask his heartbeat... or was it that he never had one to begin with? One of Allegro's thoughts was the bittersweet feeling of realizing how reliant he'd been on that skill. The other was the overwhelming guilt he felt for En having to see him like this.
It was extremely nerve-wracking for Morpho when he first met the prince of Litari (or Italy, for non-magical species). Allegretto was always nice and helpful, sometimes... a little TOO so. Morpho can't help but be flustered anytime the prince passes by.
Whenever Allegro would visit the kingdom of Anthea-- or its democratic counterpart, Germany-- he would sometimes see the nervous knight, Morpho. How interesting he was, to be in such a stoic job yet have a fleeting heartbeat. Imagine the prince's surprise when he learned he was also a butterfly! He's definitely had some fun with the knight, but nothing more has come from it.
Isolde was one of En's music teachers and probably the harshest, in his opinion. She made him do SO much vocal training that not only made him feel like a complete doofus, but would leave him barely able to talk for days! She also calls him penguin, for some reason?? It's was also pretty gross whenever his brother would stop by just to flirt with her.
"The little penguin doesn't deserve everything they put him through."
En might harbour no talent for music, but he remained one of Isolde's favourite students regardless - he's diligent, never complains, and tries his best at something he's forced to learn due to bloodline alone. If anything, Isolde loathes the circumstances in which En is forced into and tries her best to ease his distress whenever it comes to anything music related (although her strictness seems to only add more stress). She still watches him from afar after his exile, caring for him in her own subdued way as his former music teacher.
Now how lucky of Allegro to have his life saved by someone so talented in music? He knows there's quite a lot more to Isolde than she lets on, but the same could be said for himself. No, he's not interested in the secrets. He only wants to spend time with her and make music together.
"... I don't believe in love, honestly. But for him.... perhaps I could make an exception."
Who'd knew that a chance encounter with the prince in a dark and filthy alley would turn into something more? Allegro isn't just someone whom Isolde highly regards in terms of his outstanding character and intelligence, but also someone that she could imagine settling down and starting a family with. She hadn't trusted and loved another person as much as him for a long time, and she hopes to spend an eternity of happiness and bliss by his side.
One day when Allegro wandered around he found himself in a charming cafe called Algernon, ran by an even more charming barista. He likes to come in regularly now and pull Haru aside to have tea with him. It helps that the owner makes such delightfully tasty drinks and snacks.
"His highness... He's different, isn't he? Litari's future looks bright under him as their next king."
Haru treats all guests of Algernon with the same warm pleasantries, but the smile he wears on his face to greet Allegro is always a bit brighter, a bit more sincere. The prince isn't like what he imagined the nobility or the upper class to be - if it wasn't for his getup, Haru wouldn't even be able to tell that Allegro is royalty. If he had to pick a favourite client, then the charming prince is definitely one of them.
[Boss] Terry! What a swell guy!
Wait, has he said this before?
Anyways, this guy's a great band director. Don't worry, Terry, just a little longer and soon you'll be an elementary teacher like you want!
[Employee] Funny, he feels like he knows George already... Maybe that's what happens when you hate someone. Terry definitely does not like the superintendent. He was promised a position as an elementary teacher but he's starting to think he'll be stuck as a band director forever now.
[Employee] The minute the two even met there was something between them. Maybe that's why Nikolai doesn't mind being a substitute. It's nice to get to visit George now and then~
[Boss] Teachers are always out for any reason, so it's good to have some dedicated substitutes ready to jump in, and Nikolai... sleeps through his calls half the time. Why does George keep him on staff?
Well... I-It's... He...
Okay, yes, they have a relationship time-to-time.
Gotta keep these pearly whites, er, pearly white! Can't be smiling so much without sparkling teeth, right? He's very adamant about his appointments with Dr. Test. They're good breaks from work, too.
It's good to see someone enthusiastic about dental hygiene. He's actually... not used to it anymore. He'd forgotten what that feeling was like.
[Employee] Cecilia is always intimidated by Mr. McMillan whenever she meets him. He's the boss, after all! He carries himself like one too! What if she messes up and gets blacklisted? Oh, it's scary for sure. Especially when her supervising teacher, Mr. Lovejoy, keeps muttering about how much he hates the superintendent!
[Boss] Well, technically boss. He loves seeing student teachers around his schools and thinks Cecilia was a great match for Terry. Her motherly attitude will counter his... yeah. Besides, once she's all trained she can take over and he'll finally give Terry a(n assistant) director spot he keeps wanting.
[Employee] Reed is grateful for George giving him this chance to teach. It's really turned his life around for the better. He seems very nice, too. Very talkative. George tried conducting the band through The Hey Song once. Thank God they know how to count.
[Boss] Now, he knew the minute he'd hire Reed that it would spark this whole debacle with Terry, but they needed a band director and he couldn't let Terry leave elementary just yet. He thinks Reed was a good pick, he authentically cares about the program, but he's noticed him being off now and then. He'll pop in now and then to check in.
[Employee] Alcott doesn't see George that often. Hell, he doesn't even go to the "mandatory" meetings the district has now and then. He doesn't think the superintendent is bad, per se, but he's not someone he would have anything to talk about to. As long as they both do their jobs, that's all either of them need.
[Boss] Alcott's a good teacher, very astute and dedicated. That's why parents are always complaining to George about him! Little Timmy can't play football now because he failed his history exam, his chances with the NFL are ruined, things like that. He's definitely tired of getting all these complaints about Mr. Northwind, but he knows full well that guy's not doing anything wrong. Besides, these can be entertaining now and then. Maybe he should write a book?
[Employee] Oooh, Terry doesn't like George. He'd accepted the job back when he was younger because it was a job, he was promised that director position, and, admittedly, George was good with his words. The minute Reed got that job though, ooh. Terry's asked about it all the time, and what does he get in return? Teacher of the Year award, sheesh...
Although he hates him, at least George clearly takes his side whenever there's bullshit going around.
[Boss] Terry! What a swell guy. Sure, he'd have made a great band director, but the way he handled substituting with those elementary kids was phenomenal. With them being shorthanded all the time with elementary staff, he knew he had to get Terry on board as one of their teachers. Don't worry, just a little longer and you'll get that band director position for sure! In the meantime he tries to sweeten the deal by helping him more than he does with other teachers. Can't risk this guy leaving.
He's heard of exorcists before, but always thought it was a side gig for priests. He didn't know there was an actual faction of basically hired guns! Talk about preaching friendship and kindness. This Reggie guy takes things a little too seriously. That, or maybe Adrien's just gotten too used to Chad's nonsense.
Reggie's heard of Adrien and his gang of hunters. Even if they're a trio of idiots he doesn't want to be around them. All it takes is for one of them to notice anything, and they'll all realize his curse and be on him.
[Related] Nicolas hardly sees his uncle due to him usually being gone for his job. When he's around, Nicolas makes sure to have all his laundry done and folded. The last thing he needs is his uncle finding his anime blankets and body pillow cases...
[Related] Never thought the day would come that Aysun had a kid, though the circumstances weren't good. He thinks Nicolas is fine, though honestly he doesn't see him that often from how he's always locked up in his room.
To NV, Alistair is an angel. He has such beautiful looks, more beautiful than many they've seen, and a voice as delicate as rose petals. Beauty-- perfection like that could easily control legions of people with as much as a wink. Surely, Alistair must know that? Surely he must realize his gifts? NV would love nothing more than to have just one of those perfect traits.
“Tell me, NV… Just, what do you see in me?”
To Alistair, NV is a god. A being that cannot die from neither the flow of time or external causes, the proxy of a metaphysical concept so primordial that mortals cannot simply comprehend its full breadth. And yet, NV envies HIM. Alistair, a fragile boy of glass leashed in his cage like a dog, a broken man with an even more broken sense of self. NV is everything Alistair wishes to be, and he found it ironic that the sin would think so highly of someone as lowly as him. If only the mortal man himself possess a sliver of NV’s power…
Father Priest knows about Reggie and does not trust him in the slightest. He doesn't like the idea of a werewolf working for the Church, he doesn't believe it can work out. He can't deny all the help Reggie's done, though, even as much as cleaning his church now and then. That cats like him too, so as much as Father Priest doesn't like it, maybe there really can be something to this...
Reggie goes to Father Priest's church for sermons and to pick up his supplies when he runs low. He knows Father Priest doesn't trust him-- no one at the churches really do, but surprisingly he's the most mellow of all of them. Maybe because he's too busy yelling at other people. Or maybe because his cats like him, which confuses him too.
[Related] Aysun remembers clinging to Reggie a lot when he was a kid and being so excited to OFFICIALLY call him big brother. He loves Reggie to death but really wishes the guy would lighten up once in a while. He can pack his luggage JUST FINE--
[Related] Reggie was glad to have a sibling, and had known Aysun for a while when Nikolai dated Aysun's biological dad. They're both in charge of cleaning and cooking, but it's nice to have some help now. Considering Aysun's past, though, Reggie's grown to be a protective older brother around him.
[Related] Normally Nikolai wouldn't have even thought of coming NEAR an orphanage, but there was a boy he'd been interested in. One that was related to someone he knew a long, long time ago. When that very boy posed a threat to the orphanage over a monster the Sin had gotten rid of, Nikolai decided to take him in. It's the least he could do for that person...
[Related] At first Reggie hated the idea of being adopted by someone like Nikolai, but he couldn't deny how strong that guy was, and how grateful he was for the orphanage being saved. Over time he's gotten used to how lazy Nikolai is, and someway, somehow, he's grown on him. He considers him an actual dad now... even if they look to be around the same age now...
Maribelle is gruff and keeps to herself a lot, Alcott's all too familiar with that attitude so it never bothered him. Despite how blunt she can be, she means well and earnestly tries her best, and as long as she's open to help, he'll be willing to do what he can for her.
Alcott treats Maribelle like his own kid and even lets her use his kids' old rooms if she ever needs a place to stay. He knows she's been through a lot, even if he doesn't know what exactly that is, and he wants her to know that she has at least one person around that'll support her.
Maribelle likes Alcott. Even his gruffness [and his apparent faith in her] is a strange comfort, letting her think for a moment of how things could and should have been, if only the infection had not progressed to the point it had. She only feels guilt over what flows through the cracks that he then has to deal with, but even still, she knows she is safe with him. As long as he doesn't throw erasers at her, they're good.
Nicolas went to the same college as Chad, and he even went to a few frat parties with him, though he never hung around so much so he could watch anime. Chad is... crazy popular, even online, and he's always wanting to hang out! For someone like HIM to know about his drawing and his love for anime, that could NEVER happen. Nevermind Chad being a monster hunter!
They're a few years apart so Chad never really got much time to hang out with Nicolas, plus their differences in what they studied, but he knows a bro when he sees one! The few times they were around he'd always try to get him to hang out with him and the boys, but Nicolas is always so busy! One of these days they'll hang out for sure.
Chad went to the same college as Matt, even the same fraternity! They are bros for LIFE because of that, but that's not the only way they became close friends. After the incident at his university, Chad wanted to fight back against supernatural forces, and Matt knew just the way to do that. He was the one to help him learn to be a hunter and still helps him plenty of times, like a real bro.
When Matt first met Chad, he thought he would be another one of those frat guys that he would have the deceive, but boy was he wrong. Never did Matt think he'd end up becoming hunting bros with the influencer, but here he was. The two clicked so well! Matt finds himself constantly hanging out with Chad and attending all his baseball games. After all, they're bros for life!
En respects Hason's position and the many daring adventures he's been in. Compared to many people in that position, he finds Hason to still be humble and down to earth, qualities he respects in others. It's definitely nice having another person his age with the same kind of problems he can talk to.
Hason finds En to be a very interesting man and an honorable king, relating heavily to their shared experience raising their daughters alone. Hason was originally stiff and when interacting with the king, mostly because the circumstances involving their daughters got a little messy, so things certainly felt tense at first. Relations have eased up since then, Hason himself often relaxing more and acting less like a staunch old veteran and the friendly fellow he is around the king.
