Moons have passed since the Clans won the battle against Deserve’s Army. Autumnkit, daughter of Bloodfur and Mistybreeze, is prepared to begin her journey to become a warrior. Meanwhile in WindClan, Gingerkit finds he is not the only kit dreaming of following the path of a medicine cat. Away from the forest, Kit is learning to become a soldier, but Deserve’s Army is changing in ways that may bring more bad than good, ultimately putting the five Clans in danger.

She quickly falls for him and agrees to become his mate. But when she finds herself locked into a dark plot, she realizes that she has made a terrible mistake, one that puts the future of every Clan in danger.
