Nothing much concerning sickness seems to plague the pride of Wikimak, thankfully. They thank Wicasa for their health and safety, and believe that he is the one keeping them healthy. Despite this, however, they do get sick from time to time, although it's nothing very serious most of the time. When the winter and spring time roll around, most pride members tend to catch the common cold. Pneumonia can, at times, happen within the transition of winter to spring, although it is very rare since, while rainy, it still is quite warm during these seasons. 

Similarly, heat stroke is also a possibility within the summer months, more so to males than females due to their illustrious manes and such. The heat can be blistering in the summer. On certain days especially, when the heat is only accompanied by large amounts of humidity in the air. 

Because of the heat, ticks are about almost all times of the year, and ticks do tend to spread lyme disease. While that can be a problem, thankfully various bird species enjoy plucking the bigger ones off of the lions when found sunbathing, and the native man often do such things for them, as well. Some pride members may already have lyme disease, but they show no symptoms of such a disease just yet.
