Squabbles do tend to happen just about everywhere, and the pride of Wikimak is of no exception. There tend to be squabbles from time to time, and such squabbles are usually resolved rather quickly. Pride members usually just give up after some time, or figure out themselves when the conversation has gone on for long enough. But there are times when the bickering lions will keep going and going, ultimately disturbing the peace. When such a thing happens, the hataniki is summoned to try and defuse such a situation. It is the hataniki's job to try and keep the lions within the pride in check, as well as aid members when it comes to any such matters of the heart or mind (along with praise, give thanks, and offer gifts to Wicasa).

It is only when the hataniki cannot find a way to defuse the situation does the tominatoak get involved, though there has yet to be an instance that draws the tominatoak to a squabble. Thankfully, things remain quite peaceful, and squabbles are usually taken care of rather quickly.
