The pride of Wikimak definitely values and favors compassion over strength. While strength can have it's benefits, strength can be used for the wrong reasons. It can be used for the right reasons as well, but, if put in the wrong paws, it can be a force to be reckoned with. Where as compassion can't be used for wrong reasons, although someone can hide behind false compassion. Compassion is just something the pride favors, because it is a thing that Wicasa favors and offers freely. He has compassion upon all lions, big or small, young or old, slave or free.

While it is nice to have strength, and strength is a necessity in some way, shape or form, compassion is also necessary, even more so then strength at some times. Some times, compassion can even become strength, and when compassion becomes strength, the world won't know what hit it. Compassion and mercy are all some folks need to see.
