There are a couple different gestures of respect. Nodding the head, as discussed in the last entry, is one sign of, both, respect and greeting. Another sign of respect is when a pride member bows their head and it remains downward for a while, usually a few seconds, before lifting it back up. When a head is bowed for some time, it is a showing of respect and humility. Most often times, pride members will greet their tominatoak in such a way unless the tominatoak says otherwise. Alosaka is more than willing to receive just a nod of the head.

Alosaka also shows much respect for other all other members, and Nokomis does the same. Since each member is treated much like family would be, they all greet each other the same way. Even prisoners are greeted in such a kind manner, unless the prisoner makes it clear that he has no intentions of turning his attitude in the opposite direction.
