Valley of Kings Prompt Storage

The pride of Wikimak tends to have customs when it comes to dangers, and what to do when they come up. One may notice that there are, really, no fighting ranks within the pride when they are at peace. When danger comes around, however, things drastically change. 

When danger rears it's ugly head, almost all other ranks are shed and left behind, and each member takes up a new rank: Batinto. A batinto is, essentially, a mixture between a guard and a combatant. They are to take turns, guarding their territory, and are meant to protect the pride. If an enemy is spotted, they are all meant to be able to attack such an enemy and be sure to chase them away, if they don't show their intent is to take a life. 

The only ranks unaffected by by war or danger are the ranks of tominatoak, hataniki, cha'risa, and peto. Otherwise, all other ranks are meant to be changed and are meant to become batinto when danger and war arise. 

Otherwise, if it is a danger much like the silverpelts had once been, something like that can be hard to avoid. With that many numbers and with as much as those strange men had, it would be impossible to do much of anything. All they would be able to do, would be to run and try not to get run over. 

Smaller dangers, such as bears and badgers, are treated much like one would expect. All the lions within the area would go and attack the creature that so dares to put them, or any of their members, in danger. They will continue to attack until it either gives up and runs off or it is killed.
