When members wish to discuss something, there are two places they tend to usually gravitate toward, and it also depends on what sort of conversation they plan on having. If it's going to be a private conversation, pride members will either go and discuss such things in their own dens, or they will go to the Place of Discussion, which is a distance away, but still within the redwood forests. Essentially, the members who wish to discuss privately enough would have to travel up the sandy shores until the sand met with stone from the mountainside. No one really is found around there, usually, and with the waves nearby, it is a great place for discussion. If the waves are too loud or too harsh, there is a cave-like area within the side of the mountain as well.

If members wish to speak publicly, they would, at first, have to discuss with the tominatoak if it would even be possible. If the tominatoak was speaking to the entire pride, then he wouldn't really have to ask anyone. He'd settle within the middle of the entire territory and roar as loud as he possibly could. They would signal the members around to come and settle down. He would wait until all the members are settled around him before speaking, and that goes for anyone who is allowed to speak publicly.
