Dislikes: When people break the rules, threats to her siblings, loud noises, impulsive decisions, and having her studies get disrupted.

Personality: Dove is very studious and has a strong love of learning that tends to dictate her life. She prefers to follow rules carefully and dislikes when others break rules without any care. Dove is rather kind to others and is protective of her siblings, but occasionally has a bit of a temper. She usually tries to think of logical solutions to problems, but occasionally loses her patience and goes for more impulsive decisions.

Home: Animal Planet: Rainbow Island

History: Dove was born on Rainbow Island, Animal Planet, and has five siblings: Jay, Hawk, Phoenix, Raven, and Robin. For the first nine years of her life, she lived with her mother, Rainbow Bird, and her siblings in seclusion due to their species being endangered. This peaceful seclusion ended when two villains, SAC (Shadow Animal Corporation) and the mysteriously Soul began to attack the family and caused them to get separated from one another. Dove is the second of the Rainbow Chicks to be found by Sketches and Lightning in the third arc, and she is quickly reunited with her siblings Jay and Hawk. While her mother and other siblings are missing, Dove, Jay, and Hawk decide to stay in Miniman Town where it's safe. They eventually learn that their other siblings, Phoenix, Raven, and Robin, were found by SAC first and seemingly have turned against them. While they are shocked and saddened by this decision, Dove, Jay, and Hawk eventually decide to learn to fight so that they can try to reason with their siblings. After the events of the third arc, the siblings decide to stop secluding themselves from the world and spend more time in Miniman Town.

Current-Bio: Dove currently lives on Rainbow Island with her mother and siblings. She is closest to Jay and Hawk and is usually seen with them. After the events of the third story arc, Dove spends a lot more time in Miniman Town. While the Rainbow Chicks appear less after the third arc, they remain important allies to the heroes.

Meta-History: Dove and her siblings were created to be the children of the legendary  Rainbow Bird, and while each of them are named after a type of bird none of them are actually meant to be the type of bird that they are named after. All of them are rainbow birds, though they haven't become colorful like their mother yet. I've actually toyed with the idea that each of them will actually just be shades of their main color instead of rainbow (ex: Dove would have shades of green), possibly because their father was not a rainbow bird (or maybe he was, but he wasn't actually rainbow colored either...idk I need to figure out this lore. Anyways, while Jay took inspiration from Jayfeather from the Warriors series, Dove was inspired by Hollyleaf. While her name may bring Dovewing to mind, she was actually created before the fourth Warriors arc began, making their similar names a coincidence. Like Jay, she isn't actually that similar to the Warrior cat she was inspired by outside of one of her quirks.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Rainbow Bird: Dove looks up to her mother and is worried about her when they get separated.

Jay: Dove and Jay are very close.

Hawk: Dove and Hawk are very close.

Phoenix: Dove sometimes finds herself at odds with Phoenix, but the siblings still care about one another.

Raven: Dove sometimes finds herself at odds with Raven, but the siblings still care about one another.

Robin: Dove sometimes finds herself at odds with Robin, but the siblings still care about one another.

Soul: Dove doesn't trust Soul at all.
