Personality: Sushi is a relatively normal and level-headed person. He enjoys outdoor activities such as boat riding and fishing, but refuses to do anything dangerous or outside of his comfort zone. He cares a lot about his friends and tends to find himself trying to convince his childhood friend Sakura from going on dangerous adventures.

Home: Animal Planet: Marou

History: Sushi was born and raised in Marou, and is the son of the owner of a sushi restaurant, hence his name. As a kid, he met and befriended the similarly aged Sakura. Unlike Sakura, Sushi rarely wanted to leave town and go out adventuring, but he occasionally found himself reluctantly persuaded by Sakura to join his adventures. Growing up, he learned how to ride a boat, fish, and prepare sushi and eventually took over his family's business.

Current-Bio: Sushi currently lives in Marou and has taken over his family's sushi restaurant. Since he lives on a different continent than the main cast, he rarely appears.

Meta-History: Sushi was created sometime in 2012 to be a childhood friend of Sakura's. He first appeared in the Silver Serpent side story comic I made in 2012 Silver Serpent Comic Page 7 He only appeared in a few pages and I didn't draw him again until 2020. He was designed to be a "sparkle dog" but he's always looked more like a  cat, and I even accidentally called him a cat in my 2020 drawing of him. Is he a dog or a cat? I'm not sure. However, I really didn't choose very sparkly colors for him. He looks like Manx with green contact lens, a wig, and some paint. Unlike Lan, who originally wasn't a Minx Cat and is now considered one, Sushi remains a Sparkle Dog/Cat.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Sakura: Sushi and Sakura grew up in the same town and are good friends, but Sushi considers Sakura to be rather reckless at times.
