When not working, dresses in mix between eboy and techwear fashion. It's not popular in HookRock, but it is in fashion in New Neos

Has a large portion of his body tattooed. It just the kind of thing you do when you're involved with organized crime. Majority of it is an abstract blackout, has sleeves with peonies on both arms, and snakes on his collarbones that show up under blacklight 

Scar across the bridge of his nose comes from getting hit in the face with a metal sign

🌕Backstory🌕

A former human male named Toby. At least, that's what he thinks. It might just be the brain damage talking, but he does remember the distinct horror of something being increasingly off with himself following being shot in the head.

Lives in an absolutely garbage world where, at some point, time and reality broke causing things from the past and future to come together into one horrible present. Some areas, referred to as "flux zones", are worse than others when it comes to warped reality. No one can pinpoint exactly when the cataclysm happened since everyone remembers the event differently. 

Born in the year 192 in a city called New Neos, which is is generally believed to have been ripped from the distant future. New Neos is a dense city filled with neon lights that power themselves and strange factories that require no raw materials to produce products. As miraculous as the city is, most of its citizens find themselves in poverty due to rent and food costs. 

Raised by both parents and maternal grandmother. Toby's family is firmly stuck in the poverty level. His parents are saddled with unfortunate additional debt due to his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. At 11, gets involved in low level organized crime. He just delivers packages. He has no idea what's in them and it's not like anyone would tell him. Moves out at 16, much to his family's upset, with the money he's saved up. Lives well enough with the money he makes from his job delivering packages and doing other low-rank jobs. Group he's associated with thinks he's trustworthy, but an annoying dick. Eventually runs his mouth too much and winds up losing his ring and pinky fingers on both hands. 

While he never becomes aware of it, he's technically not even Toby Zhang anymore. He's actually a parasite that's hijacked Toby's body. He's way more durable, and doesn't have to sleep or eat much. Craves and consumes a bunch of weird things. People that knew the real Toby think he acts mostly the same, but is notably quieter. 

Parasite Toby leaves New Neos because his 'mom' figures out that he is most definitely not her son. Winds up living in a nowhere town and working as a person who scavenges for stuff in flux zones. Gets involved with a man named Theron by chance. It's great at first since Theron is fantastic at scavenging and repairs. Slowly realizes just how terrible the dude is and why everyone was saying to stay the hell away from him
