Nicadi

Dude is a super minor character that if I ever write anything, he'll only be mentioned in passing. I just wanted to design him so I could eventually have him drawn with Cyrelle OTL

Sometimes called Nicadi the Living Shadow

The father of Cyrelle. 2 generations out from V'endalin. He has a vague idea that he's related to a eldritch deity.  Nicadi's father, a monster that goes by "Grandfather", is fairly obsessed with V'endalin and talks about him constantly. Nicadi isn't sure if V'endalin is as a strong as Grandfather claims or if Grandfather is just giving him excessive praise. 

One of the youngest of Grandfather's kids and one of his the least favourite.
Nicadi remained in contact with only one of his siblings. Nicadi and that brother, Cirio, have a pact to protect each other. 

Skin feels soft like suede 

He's able to completely collapse his body. If a piece of paper can get into a gap, Nicadi can squeeze through. 

Light doesn't interact with him correctly, usually appears as a solid matte black. Nicadi does not have a shadow.

Nicadi is capable of using a UV light based magic. He is able to give off a sudden burst of light that is able to burn and blind his opponents. 

He is a monster and does eat people, but won't go through any real trouble to catch a person. You have to be nearby and less trouble than something like a deer. 

Raised Cyrelle mostly by himself since her mother barely visited the two of them. Which is... understandable. She loved them both, but Nicadi and Cyrelle are monsters after all.
