Eli's personal art idea list
I've been in need of a place to store all my personal art ideas but I didn't like Trello, Google docs takes minutes to load simple documents, and in sta.sh I'll accidentally delete it never to be seen again, so this'll be my art idea list for the time being! I've toyed around with the layout a bit and pushed what can be done with TH's basic editor, so I hope this bulletin's format is nice to look upon too.
Everything on this list is either personal work or ideas I've had with friends' OCs and it will constantly change as I complete things and get new ideas. No priority anywhere, just ideas if I get bored and need something to draw stress-free.

I also replaced some icons with artwork made by others! For long I wanted to keep my style consistent, but the forums agree that my framing is enough to keep them generally consistent.
The previous one messed up my TH page and gave me that one weird bug where editing text fields became ugly, so I'm reuploading it here in the hopes this one survives.
Now that I have over 100 characters, my character gallery is getting really cluttered and pretty damn hard to navigate through if you wanna find characters of a particular story or category. While I do have tags, I'm not sure how often they are used, so I've decided it's time to make a character directory where they're all grouped together by faction and where each faction is explained briefly, because even I can't make sense of it anymore otherwise. Plus it's nice to finally have a clear way to showcase how people belong to each other's groups.

The Guild
The Guild is a fighter's organisation situated in Kestane. They're best known for their practise of cutting off the tail of initiated members, persecuting hostile uses of magic, and fighting for the worldwide abolishment of slavery. Barring a few very rare cases, the Guild is a demon-based faction with a distaste of other species.

It offers a vast array of courses in both the intellectual and the magical. They welcome their neighbours with open arms and have spread far beyond the borders of the Bloodlands they're situated in. They work together closely with the Bloodland military to keep the world a safe place.

Gods
There are many, many gods and only a tiny fraction of them are demons, but the gods my focus is on are all but two demons. These once powerful mortals ascended to greatness thanks to a very rare type of god magic, and whether it was was bestowed upon them or they had to work for it, it isn't always the easiest thing to work with.

Mirrors

Souls
Much less of a faction and much more of a phenomenon, souls are the metaphorical manifestation of a sentient being's ability of cognitive processes and thinking. They are metaphorical because they have no actual physical appearance and are tied to one person, but they would be incomprehensible if without a physical representation.

I'll be taking on an alternative challenge by Isoprene, where the goal is to write or rewrite a character profile every day for the entire month of November. Technically speaking there's no word count involved in this and making 30 profiles accounts for the 50k words, but I'll still try to get an average wordcount of 1667 words per profile anyway!
Won't be uploading everything I type to the online profiles, though, due to spoilers and insecurity about my own writing and stuff, but I will update this bulletin with the total word count I managed to get for every particular profile on that day! Let's hope I can reach 1667 per day, but knowing my tendency to blabber on and on in backstories that shouldn't be a problem ;)

Do keep in mind that as I'm a Flemish person, they're intended to be pronounced with a Flemish tongue as well. That means soft g's and rolling r's unless the name is obviously English. If I didn't add any notes to pronunciation on a character's profile that means it's read exactly as it's written and in English.

I know I tend to just drop off a oneshot picture of a character and then rarely draw them again, but I still keep developing them afterwards! But I can imagine that it gets fairly confusing not to see more of them in artwork. So hence this bulletin; I want to hear who you guys are interested in and talk about them!

If you ask for a character I'll tell you more about them and I'll make an effort to update their TH profile as well while we're at it.
Yesterday I started naming my commissioned art files a decent name and because of that, I've been checking if I uploaded all art to my characters' profiles. And lo and behold, I forgot a ton!

Hey everyone!
There's been a couple of updates around here. First off, I made a character directory where all of my characters are grouped per faction and per clique, so if you wanna know more about which characters belong together and in which context they belong go check it out! Secondly, I also updated my profile status list to have icons. Much easier to navigate now!
In terms of character profiles there will be a change as well. I've decided that Florence's profile will be the way I'll structure all of my profiles. I'm still optimising it, so any feedback would be useful! I'm also gonna put an effort into typing out a summary section like I did for Florence for every single character, developed or not, but that's more of a long term project than anything else.
