ElithianFox's Bulletins
Lots of bulletins lately!
Let's cut right to the chase: do you prefer that I first draw a character myself or find a role for them before uploading them, or do you think it's okay if I don't do this and post characters who aren't finished, don't have a role yet, and aren't drawn yet but do have a vague idea?
So what you'd be voting for in the poll:
Yes: You think it's okay if I post characters with barely an idea who they are and what they do. I haven't drawn them either, I just have a vague concept about them and that's it. Once I do have a concept, I will update their profile in your inbox. This won't mean I'll upload raw designs, I will always have some idea of who they are.
No: You prefer that I actually have an idea of who the character is that I can write about when I upload the character, and that I have drawn them. This means it might take (much, much...) longer for me to upload the actual character, but it'll be one with art and a semblance of what I want them to be.
I'm holding a raffle for one of seven demon designs over at my dA. No need to watch me, either! There's still 24 hours left, so go check 'em out!
If you don't have a dA, you can join by commenting the required details on this bulletin ^^

Because I do! You can follow me here if interested - https://refsheet.net/ElithianFox
It's basically an alternate TH more based on visual details of the character, as the name implies. The layout has been fun and as you'll see on some of my profiles, you can change the colours freely and all ;v;
I finally updated my list of characters to better reflect how they currently look and who they're with, for a better look at who they are! If you're interested, take a look at them ;v;
Would you look at that, I decided to draw three winners instead of one because I'm really enjoying creating all sorts of designs lately and need some more practice
Thanks to everyone who took the poll! It still remains open, so you can still vote, but the raffle is closed after this ;v;
The big winner is afternath
Second winner is miricca
And third winner is Hipolymer @Tumblr
Congrats! You three win a custom fullbody tailored to your preferences.
Please send me a note with (or comment below) the following template filled in, as specific or as open as you wish:

If you didn't win, I'll still be opening fairly cheap custom designs ($5-$15) during the year, so you can look forward to that! I might even do another custom raffle if I find I'm getting bored with just selling them, so keep an eye out for that! I'll be arranging everything for February.
Hey guys!
I was thinking that maybe I could do a design-per-week challenge this year, starting a little after my finals, which end on the 1st of February. The designs would be sold or raffled. But to get some inspiration, I'd like you know your design preferences! I made a handy little questionnaire that won't take more than a few minutes to fill in, could you please answer it? ;v;
The questionnaire can be found here! Any answers are greatly appreciated <3
Anyone who fills in the questionnaire and leaves their name behind will be entered into a raffle to win a custom design.
A medium detailed flat coloured fullbody tailored to your preferences. Just leave your username at the end of the questionnaire and answer 'yes' in the section asking if you'll participate, and you're entered! Of course if you just wanna leave behind your preferences, that's all fine and dandy too.
The raffle ends within a week, but the poll will remain open indefinitely. That's the 24th of January 2018.

If you follow me on here but not on DeviantART, you can still enter the raffle. Just mention your TH username in your comment!
Sometimes, my characters are part of a species that needs its whole separate section of info to truly grasp the character's context. I ain't so sure how I'm to tackle this, so what are your preferences?
To better explain the options and give live examples
>Simply a link to a longer off-profile species explanation: the "Species: (species)" point in the basic stats of the character is a link where you're referred to my world here on TH and a thread with the full explanation of the species. This avoids clutter, but not many people will actually click that link.
For example, "Species: Mirror" on my Mirrors' profiles.
>Species section on the profile that is a briefer summary: the species gets a brief summary, maybe in bullet points, and a link to a broader and more articulated explanation of the species, giving a balance between the two options but risking underexplaining some aspects while also distracting from the character themselves by talking about species.
For example, the Academy story's species specific powers on their profiles, or my gods' specific god powers in the middle of their profile
>Species section on the profile that is highly detailed: the species is fully explained. It can get long, usually being 3-10 paragraphs, and could take up space, but you'll understand everything you need to understand loud and clear.
For example, the 'Souls' subsection on all of my Souls' profiles, or Vohgan's followers on her profile.
Please check this link if you're interested! They're only $5, and you get discounts at multiple orders.
Some examples of the style
Note to self: DO NOT EDIT unless on a big resolution screen or zoomed out at least 75%. You'll fuck up the image sizes.
I was convinced I kept my Mini Project updated on here, but apparently I don't so I quickly made one! Mostly because this is far too large to add to my to do list and warrants its own separate bulletin just for how big it is.
What is the Mini Project?
It's a project where I draw all my OCs in my mini style and try to give them a pose as interesting as possible. That's 113 characters! This way, I get to create an up to date reference image of every character and draw ones I haven't drawn in a very long time. Not to mention it helps me improve; I started this project around January of 2017, and even a year later there's been so much improvement. Lately I've been stunted in my progress, but I'll try to finish them as soon as possible regardless!
Ones that have an image are finished or almost finished. Click on the pictures for the dA versions! And as always, I always accept feedback on any of these ;v;
