"Come on, Helios! It'll be fun!" Kosa exclaimed, playfully dragging her mate towards the beach with her tail.

"Alright, alright, I'm in," He chuckled, watching as she bounded down towards the waves.

The pair had decided to take a day off to visit the beach and relax. The pride wouldn't miss them too much, it's not like they were sealgairs.

Kosa ran along the coastline, occasionally splashing in the waves as they rolled up to her paws. Helios stared after her lovingly, following along at a much slower pace.

"Oh, I have an idea!" She yelled, suddenly turning around, "Let's try to find rocks that look like each other's eyes."

"I dunno, love," He said hesitantly, eyes flickering towards the setting sun.

"But it'll be so cute! But if you really don't want to, I guess we don't have to," She said, disappointed.

"Aww, come here love," He said, pulling her into his mane, "We can always come back on a different day. Or, if you want, we can look on our way back home."

Kosa's eyes shimmered with hope, "Really? Thanks, love," She said, contentedly leaning into his mane. Helios smiled at her happily.

The two of them slowly made the trek back to the pride, Kosa stopping every couple of steps to find a rock that perfectly matches Helios' eyes. Helios was taking his duty less seriously. Unless he just happened to stumble upon a chunk of sapphire, there was no way he'd actually be able to find a rock that matches his loves' eyes. Kosa picked up another rock, holding it up to Helios' face. He smiled slightly at her. She noticed and blushed, small pink ice crystals forming on her neck. Helios just chuckled slightly, and watched as his mate continued to sort through the small rock pile she had collected.
