If Shimo had to choose, his worst fear would have to be heights. Just the thought of being somewhere high up with little or no boundaries to stop him from accidentally falling off of the edge is enough to have him cowering in fear. Luckily, because the pride's rarely ever up high, it doesn't really affect his ability to lead them. However, if they do happen to be in that unfortunate situation, he can usually deal with it. If he can't, then it's up to either the advisor, or one of the mages to be in charge. His fear most likely stems from this one incident back in his old pride, when he and a couple of the other lion cubs were playing a little too roughly by the edge of a cliff. One of Shimo's closest friends ended up falling off. He died a few days later due to internal bleeding.
