Shimo relies on his sense of smell the most. He's always been very good at tracking using only his nose, and is excellent at stalking. He's pretty sure he gets his amazing sense of smell from his father. Minzi was considered to be one of his pride's best hunters, because of his nose. Shimo thinks that if he suddenly went blind due to a sickness, or an attack or something, he would be able to get on fine using just his sense of smell. He actually used to try that when he was younger, by forcing his eyes to stay closed , and seeing if he could move around and figure out where he was using only his sense of smell.
