The Healer is one of the Ushirikiano Pride's most valued members. They are usually either Healing Mages, or have been trained by a former Healer. The Apprentice Healers are in charge of gathering and sorting the herbs that the Gardener has planted, and occasionally also help out the more experienced Healers with some of the less serious injuries. After they have proven their healing abilities, they can be promoted to Healers, and start learning about how to treat the more deadly wounds and illnesses. The Healers are in charge of keeping the other members alive and healthy. There are usually multiple, so as to not overwhelm them. The Healers often have little pouches of healing items, such as herbs and cobwebs, with them so that they're always prepared for an emergency if they're not by their den. They have a small burrow to store ice to help numb the pain, but most of the time Amoka ends up accidentally making some unmeltable ice because they're stressed. The herbs that they use are written in a large book that is stored on a stone pillar. These healing items include, but are not limited to, chamomile for stress, cobwebs for bleeding, elder leaves for sprains, honey for throat issues, lavender for fever, oak leaves to prevent infection, and yarrow to remove poison.
