"Quick, hide behind the sofa!"

Kosa laughed quietly as her brother stared at their mother. He had just been caught rifling through Bahari's herbs, and had managed to gather them all into a huge pile. While Kai was getting yelled at by their mom, Kosa was planning something. Something that would hopefully get her brother out of trouble. She flicked her tail slightly to get Kai's attention, and nodded her head to tell him that he needed to stall for a while. He understood and nodded slightly back at her before, and started to make up some excuse about falling or something.

Kosa knew she didn't have much time, so she tried to think as quick as she could to come up with a scheme. Her head shot up as she realized what she should do. She looked at the arguing lions, before creating a thin coating of ice stretching from her paw to her mother.

Bahari, confused as to why there was suddenly ice under her paws, slipped and fell. Kai took this opportunity to run to where Kosa was hiding.

"Kai, quick, hide behind that rock!" She hissed, shoving her brother towards a jagged rock. He took off running to hide. Bahari was starting to figure out what happened, and got up angrily, before turning her head to glare at where Kosa was. She quickly slipped away and went to bother Amoka.

She was looking behind her while running, and accidentally bumped into something. She groaned slightly and looked up. Amoka stared down at her, confused. She chuckled quietly, looking up at them guiltily.

"Kosa? Are you alright?" They asked, leaning down to lick her on the head.

"I'm fine! Do you know any good places to hide?" She replied, scrunching up her nose when they licked her. Amoka froze, before straightening up and looking at her sternly.

"Kosa, what did you do this time?" They sighed.

"Weeeelllll... I might have froze the ground under Bahari's feet and made her fall," She admitted guiltily.

Amoka sighed again and shook their head, before guiding her away to the garden.

"You can hide here, just make sure to keep the ice under control. Bahari would not be happy if her herbs got frozen," They said, nudging her toward's the entrance, "I'll go see if I can stall. If I don't come back to get you, sneak into the den after everyone's gone to sleep, alright?" Kosa nodded, before dashing into the plants. She was immediately hit with a wave of smells. She couldn't even tell the difference between all of them. She rolled around a bit in order to hide her scent, before zig-zagging through the plants, before hiding under one with broad leaves. She remained like that for a couple hours before she heard rustling ahead of her. She shrank back under the leaves, muscles bunching with suspense. She heard a voice calling out her name, and she slowly crawled out from under the leaves. She looked up to see that Amoka was standing in a nearby clearing. She jumped up and ran over to them. The noise she made startled them, and they looked over at her in relief.

"Kosa! I was wondering where you were," They purred. The two embraced, before Kosa pulled away and asked them a question.

"Is... Is Bahari mad at me, Amoka?" She questioned hesitantly.

"She understands why you did it, but she doesn't want it to happen again," They sighed. Kosa looked at them happily, before they both returned to find Bahari and Kai asleep.
