Kaede

kazue’s second partner. kaede was permanently disfigured when his tree was set aflame by a human village, once they discovered the tree at their graveyard was digging its vampiric roots into their dead. he was rescued only at the last second by kazue, who singlehandedly uprooted him and his tree to plant him somewhere safer. everybody else at the house wishes he hadn’t.
kaede has a severe cinderella complex. he is rather obsessed with coming off as harmless, and though it is true he hates to crank a hair on anybody’s head, he can be... entitled. a jerk. extremely mean. kaede’s frail, sickly constitution ensure he needs near constant supervision, and he adores it. he’s latched onto kazue as his savior, and lives for his attention. anybody else he can miss like a sore tooth though, and it’s mutual. he’s incredibly edgy, morbid in fact, and relishes in his ability to disturb others. 

in the recent hears that the nakanishi household has acquired an internet connection, kaede, unlike most of the older members of the household, is anything but bored. in fact, he’s made quite a name for himself online. he’s gotten very into alternative fashion as of late, and his photos make quite the numbers in niche communities. to put it briefly, this centuries old spirit has become an e-boy.
