Nadja

daughter of a human and a river troll, and thus unsettlingly tall for the usually tiny amphibian creatures. unlike most, she didn’t grow up in a cozy little village, but rather, the big city! her father is one of the surgeons at fogmere’s biggest hospital, so the family has been sticking close to the city center for most of her life. in a way, perhaps that contributed a bit to how eccentric she is today. nadja is a bit of an oddball, with a goofy grin on her face by default and an almost naively positive outlook on the world. you learn to shut certain things out, living in the most bustling part of the city!

perhaps contrasting with her overall peace-loving, cheerful vibe, nadja is a weaponsmith. working alongside anita, the two frequent one of the smithing workshops in town. most of their orders consist of tools, nails, and horseshoes, but occasionally, nadja has the opportunity to work her magic. literally! most of their customers use their works for hunting the enchanted lands, and most of the creatures there will only go down from weapons with a little more oomph. and it is oomph they will receive! while she mostly frequents the reception counter and takes care of the workshops paperwork, make no mistake, she definitely is not a deskjob girl. while anita’s works are much more popular, nadja’s signature is a sense of grace. it is truly a talent, to have a gentle nature shine through in tools of killing.
