An earlier generation plagueborn, well into his golden years. Rochel is Piep's grandfather as well as godfather, and has been taking care of him since he's been orphaned. by all means a warm old man, with much love to share. rochel was widowed far too early, and lost his child and son in law not long after. nonetheless, he has stayed strong for his grandson, and despite his loss, finds joy in life with piep by his side. in turn, piep cherishes his grandfather deeply, and has refused to move out even today, despite the opportunities presented to him.
rochel lives in the outskirts of östburgershof, where nowadays he does not much but tend to his garden, and occasionally play piano with the window open. he claims the birds like it.
