she’s big. she’s sad. she’s kinda hungry. she wants to Go Home

anguilis was once a resident of rooibos’ tidal pool of gore and hyperdeath, but somehow managed to worm her way out of hell by way of a blood magic contract. it wasn’t as if she meant to enter the mortal world, she simply saw a small hole ripping into the pit of misery, and desperately flung herself through it. poor anguilis, her partner didn’t last long, especially not against her. a being of pure agony and despair, she drove the blood mage wild, before ripping her way through his body and swallowing him whole.

and then, just like that, she was stuck there. somehow, she followed the rivers, and found a vast ocean, but nonetheless she feels so unsafe. everything is cold, food is so scarce, and while no one is there to hurt her or scream at her, she somehow misses that wretched home, and is more miserable than she was before. it was an awful place, but it was her home, and now she‘s completely on her own.

perhaps if your entire existence is nothing but misery, you’re doomed to never be happy, after all.
