Shinobu Yamauchi

the youngest sibling of the yamauchi family, a mere 15 minutes or so younger than his twin brother. unlike his older sisters, who have both gone abroad, shinobu has remained on onigashima, and intends to stay there! he's a jack-of-all-trades handyman for hire, but primarily, he helps on his parents' vegetable farm. despite his rather calm, standard country bumpkin life, shinobu has an incredibly intense personality. ever since he was a child, he has been full of vigor, perhaps a bit of violence. once he may have been quick to anger, but as he got older, he also got a lot milder. with the way he acts now, with rough hands and a booming voice, that's saying a lot. 

shinobu is the polar opposite of his twin brother, which works out all the better. hikaru is timid, and has the tendency to hermit away from the rest of the village, which shinobu absolutely does not allow him to do. he knows the exact right ways to coax him out of his shell, and give him something to smile about. hikaru, in the meantime... well, shinobu isn't the brightest crayon in the box, so let's say his bro keeps him out trouble. most of the times... as far as he's aware...
