Betsy Louis

elpis’ aunt, and legal guardian. poor little elpis was orphaned after both her parents were lost to a car crash, and betsy has been taking care of her ever since. betsy’s never married, and had started to wish she’d had a child while she had the chance. but she never would have wanted the circumstances to be like this. either way, the two get along swimmingly. elpis was always a spunky girl, and betsy’s carefree, fun-loving attitude fed into that completely, making her into quite the rascal. despite being a lax and fun auntie, she makes it very clear that she’s not one to mess with. 

betsy’s quite popular in the neighborhood, as well. she runs an old bar in the outskirts of town called the Brandy Barrel, where she hosts all sorts of events. pub quizzes, music nights, you name it! just about everyone in this side of town knows who she is, and is particularly familiar with her personality. betsy is an assertive, yet warm and welcoming woman. the oddest of folks are more than welcome in her bar, particularly her rather unsettling cousin. she’s simply the type of person that you can depend on, or entrust your problems to over a stiff drink. a real community woman, with a taste for eccentric hairstyles and cake recipes!
